The Lotus 49 is one of the best cars in Assetto Corsa, in my opinion. I love old race cars up thru the end of the Group C-era. But that Lotus 49. Whoa, momma! The sounds are great too. I don't know if they're accurate, but I can listen to that car on a track like Spa all day long. It's a lot of fun on that old Monza track and the 1966 Spa-Francorchamps circuit. That are some butt-clenching high speed bends in the 1966 Spa when you've got your foot to the floor.

Couldn't agree with you more! I'm a Group-C and 80-90's F1 guy but I am really starting to love the old F1 cars.
I just downloaded the 1966 Spa course, taking fast corners with 300 km/h on the brink of loosing the rear end is quite the thrill!

My best lap so far with the not Ferrari 550 GT1 mod by RSS. The 3 cars they released have been where all my free time has gone.... they're just so good. Listen in with headphones because the sound is amazing (especially when I switch to hood cam).

well i had one Manta long time ago. I could speak about with nostalgy and lot emotion. That was a good car. Very elastic gears and it was very easy ti drive on snow. Perfect. I naver had any problem with that car. Unfortunatelly last good opel was Calibra and Omega in my opinion. Today you cant buy such good cars, without stupid electoinic and bla bla. I found this foto in internet it was identical model. Cery similar feeling to drive with bmw 318 but quite less power.View attachment 699626
