Saw everybody DC, even @NW48, p***** me off... Plus, I have not appreciated much some group A cars pushing / dive bombing. Strong damages may prevent that, that's not realistic at all. OK for contact, but please overtake safely...
Really sorry about the bump on lap 23, but as for the incident where we squeezed together (forgot what lap), I don't think I was at fault because first of all, I did flash my lights and second of all, your car was on the right lane as I passed and I did not think you would turn to my lane like that. Then again, perhaps that's not the best part of the track to overtake, I could have waited to overtake on the straightaway.

Anyway, it's a shame we had to run an enduro just because someone refused to accept the rules of Pre-Qualifying. I just hope we can put this behind us in time for the next race.

I don't know who it was (I genuinely can't remember) but I clipped someone with my left rear going through the narrow, twisty section in Sector 3. I'm sorry, it wasn't intentional and maybe I was pushing too hard since I was on fresh rubber (it was just after my 2nd stop). I slid wide pushing and just gave the Group B a nudge, but with that section being narrow they slid up into the wall.

I'm not sure I was talking about you @Timlour :) Whatever, I don't mind a bump it can happen and I may be in fault. But sometimes I really had the feeling that it was deliberate.
I know you weren't talking about anyone in particular, I just felt those incidents needed to be addressed.

@lxmmy That may have been me... Was having issues. After we collided I pulled over to let you pass but you didn't move so I continued. I apologize. It was not intentional.

Sorry guys but after yesterday night, I now feel sick so I don't think the time is good for me so I have to drop out.

ATCC HOUSEKEEPING

I would firstly like to say that I apologise on behalf of the server's, the 2 individuals who interrupted in the flow the room (Danny99 *now banned from the series* & TNR_KING_FILO, who had no right being there). However, what I do not appreciate is that I have a lot of people complaining in my ear about the race. I cannot help that two individuals joined our room without permission but what doesn't help is when people continue to encourage them to stay, that is just not right.

Now, one last batch of negative news, Group A cars and Group B cars. There were a few Group B cars that completely refused to yield for the Group A cars, forcing them to become aggressive in order to be able to pass. As a result, new regs will be coming out in the coming days to stop that from happening.

People will be contacted via their Team PM and questioned over why they failed to yield.

And some good news, I was extremely impressed with the full room showing we received, that made it all worthwhile.

Everyone should congratulate @WanganGhost for being a standout gentlemen in regards to yielding. :)đź‘Ť

Most Group B Drivers were okay letting people past but 1 driver would block the hell out of you and it happened three times with me.

Also I think the Mustang may need to be pegged back a bit, I can test the other cars if you want to get a benchmark but I feel even if both cars are at the same time lap wise the Mustangs straightline advantage is soo insane it makes defending your position insanely easy.

I know who you are talking about, it happened to me a lot, and apparently I'm the bad guy for slightly touching them up.

Exactly! I said to NW that it didn't even matter how fast you were in a Nissan, Corvette, ect. I could be the fastest in the turns but you gained almost 2 seconds every time you hit the straight. Just imagine the mustang around Indy road course, Daytona Road course...

Get my point?

:) I am addressing that ASAP. đź‘Ť

I think after we adjust the Mustang, I think that will be it in terms of concerns in regards to BoP.

I'm very impressed in the quality of racing for the Group A cars. The opening laps were intense! @Hayden, that battle of ours was fantastic! I saw @Pubs16 & @Timlour picking up where they left off at Round 00 by battling it out for the 2nd week in a row at Tokyo, you to are going two be a great rivalry to each in the coming rounds!

Also just my 2 cents here

Have like set up Room settings to run every time like standerd or high race quality. To perhaps decrease connections. I think this morning was really bad as Turtle is now having a room up and they aren't having any problems at all.

Also my 2 cents

I think like based off the Pre Q for every event like the highest qualifer will start in 1st followed down and if you didn't qualify you start last then have the safety Car lead the field single or double file across the track with space between each car then bunch up around the start and the leader sets when to go and can't pass until you hit the finish line.

Even if you don't have a safety Car you could make this work.

Lastely I understand if someone dcs you want to wait for them but personally the lastest to wait for anyone is 30 minutes after races were post to start

The Mustang defintely has to be the fastest on the straight though to stand a chance because on the corners it is next to useless, but the advantage is far too large at current.

Since I am the only one using it I think maybe just reduce Group A to two cars.

Its not your fault about the servers. It happens. As Sherlock Holmes would say. We must press on, move forward. I thought the race was fine. Maybe thats just a select few though. Heres hoping next race will be more stable.

It isn't just PD and the 2 users. Sorry but I have to be honest, you lost control of the rooms, the room setting of race quality makes a huge strain on some peoples internet (though not sure you changed it in the room you guys were racing), and you need to enforce Text Chat rules so this doesn't happen again. I had the same issue when I ran a series. I don't think anyone encourage them to stay either?

I'm gutted we didn't get to finish it off proper! Our opposing strategies meant it should've become pretty close as the laps ticked down and I was really looking forward to the battle.

I'm keen to compete in as many of these races as possible, it seems to be a good group of clean and fast guys you've assembled here. Once we get the in room niggles sorted (may I suggest opening the official race room half an hour before the scheduled start) it'll be a great series. đź‘Ť

Sorry If I was a pain in the 🤬 to group A drivers. I am the slowest in this comp so I tried to pull over as much as I could. :P Good racing but! Was very enjoyable (for me anyways.)

Well even when the mustang entered the turns yes being in a Nissan behind you I was able to go faster than you but not destroy you in the turns like you did on the straights,

Also imagine the mustang at Bathurst...the straight aways..

I mean the mustang can work it just needs some major adjustments

đź‘Ť totally agree!

This series has a lot of potential of being 1 of the best if not the best racing series on GTPlanet it just needs some tweaks and then they will be taking off.

Being said that here I'll just post right here my sugguestions to make this an better overall experience, now @NW48 before I say anything further you are in complete control of this league of course and it's your options to make the decisions to improve this series in any possible way of your choice

1) Pre Q Setup: The people who Pre Q will have their starting position for the First race. Being said that, for Example, GTP_Ph7shr got the Pole in Pre Q theirfore he would get Pole for 1st race and so on down. If a Class B Pre Qs faster than a Class A then so be it. Then in my opinion if it's 3 or less races. Have the second race be reverse grid at start, if it's 4 or more have the 2nd be reverse grid then based on results back to reverse grid.

Why? This will give the opportunity for Class A drivers to properly patiently make a clean pass on a Class B driver the racing gets more interesting.

2) what @Hayden mentioned with opening up the room a half an hour earlier, get the room setup, make sure nothing is wrong so when the drivers join, everything will be smoother, also set a Time requirement that all drivers must be in the lobby by this time or we start the Race in 5 or less minutes. Basically like if it's 30 minutes after orginal start then fire it up, if they DC they DC so be it they can make the next race.

4) Dont change the laps / race format stick to your orginal schedule of ATCC as of this morning we planned 2 races as changing it too and hour and a half -- 1- made the races longer 2-- changed the whole strategy of 2 30 minute roughly long races.

5) Dont allow any sort of public incidents in public lobby, for example in Turtle everyone knows if their is an incident happening We bring it too the PM not the public, as Turtles we want too look top notch so the new people check us out and see we are a great group of guys and not posting drama from the incidents.

The incidents that may have happened with atcc with class B and class A I noticed a few drivers just simply apologizing in a good way. đź‘Ť

6) Use of Text Chat:: I believe that The use of Text Chat shall only be used to @NW48 if you have a question for him, simply PM NW, I'm sure NW will be on GTPlanet before the races to answer any answers also by PSN messeging would work as well.

Too add on to this, have a main race quality setting for everytime this series races looks like standerd or high works best.

That's about it!

This again is just my thoughts and 2 cents to help everyone including myself! đź‘Ť I am not trying to force anything bad or drama, just here to help and provide a better overall experience for everyone

I'll admit that I didn't cover Text Chat rules like I should have in the Driver's Briefing, but that was because I wrongly assumed that everyone would understand not to spam the Text Chat. I was wrong about that, and I apologise.

I'm going to begin to enforce those things that @Ph1sher stated above, as I feel I was to relaxed in terms of some of those suggestions, but that was because I felt if I was enforcing those rules as strongly as I would usually do, it would detract from the atmosphere of the series. Again I was wrong.

Anyway, what's done is done, and we just need to stop looking back and start looking forwards to ensure this doesn't happen again. :)đź‘Ť

UNC MOTORSPORTS SECURE PODIUM AT TOKYO

Finally gotten a chance to make a post-race post!

Firstly, yes huge dramas before the race, connections, a frustrating person, etc, we all know. Chechmate was so out of place, regardless of @NW48 losing complete control of the room a little, chechmate was probably the biggest influence to delay. I can't say why connections weren't playing nicely in terms of room settings, as I do not know a lot about that side of things, but if it wasn't for checkmate, we wouldn't have had to make a 2nd room and thus 3rd and 4th. I'm sure with the difficult person removed we can now have an uninterrupted flow to the start of an event (in areas we have control over anyway, connections are never 100% guaranteed it seems in GT6), I wasn't too fussed as it was the start of my weekend today but it was late, I do not blame you though @NW48.

In saying all that, once we finally went green with a race distance alteration, it was a great race nonetheless.
I'd like to congratulate @mustafur and @Aaroh007 for their Group wins! The Mustang was very fast, probably a little too fast I'll agree but doesn't need to be choked :). This is my first official podium in any GTP series!!! I am so so stoked and to have done this for our opening round in ATCC it is a great start for points which is always my aim.
@Timlour that was a very very deserving 2nd mate, oh my gosh that is the best and longest battling I have done to date with one person. I'll agree with @NW48 in a rivalry between timlour and I for the season! It seems we've been drawn together and even closer this time, I could've had 2nd but I flunked my little lead I had over Tim rejoins from my last pit stop in the remaining 20mins. But was absolutely hounding the back of him till the very last lap, The corvette being very strategically placed and defensive (not too much, it was very fun) in the areas he was vulnerable in to my GTR. I had gotten close enough on the final lap to have a chance in a certain place I was planning to make a pass and have enough gap for that Corvette to not catch me by the final turn. Unfortunately made a slight error given him some tents to breathe and hold 2nd down, amazing racing dude I'm looking forward to more!! Hope those little bumps weren't too much!! I was getting eager to hurry you up ;).

Given quite a lot had to leave early or got dc sadly (those near the end of the race I feel really bad for!) results could've been quite different but even closer racing I'd imagine. The start of the race was soo epic! There was just a train of corvettes for awhile that I was latching onto the back of patiently waiting for them to all make a mistake, even then was amazing racing between 4-5 cars with no gap between them is great great stuff and signs for the rest of the season. I must apologise to one of them for quite a bit of a nudge in the back esses, not sure who maybe @NinjaEvo but you had braked quite earlier than normal and didn't expect it with another corvette hot on my tail, thankfully nothing happened from it and we all continued on :).

On group A/B track space hm, I didn't find any issue with the group B cars, probably a little too nice in letting me pass imo, in my instances I never wanna impede drivers that much, just a nice pull off line down a straight or into a braking zone is nice, don't have to full slow up boys! :) but given that most times I did come across was during my heated battle with timlour, but never held us up hardly.

A great race in the end, once it's over I forget about the start delays, we've done what we came to do already, why stress so much about it, look at the positives and improve on the negatives for next time!

When do the standings go up? ;).
