)Today the ATCC is proud to announce that it is partnering up with the online racing group know as the Gran Turismo Online Racing (GTOR). This partnership has been in and out of the pipeline for many weeks but shortly before the GTP ES Bathurst 12HR kicked off, both parties came to an agreement.
The agreement will see the ATCC run under the online family tree of the GTOR, which is home to the largest Touring Car Series on GTPlanet, the GTTCC. As part of this partnership, the ATCC & the GTTCC, may do a joint venture race sometime in the future, but details of that are yet to be confirmed.
@True-blue-8 & @NW48 are both thrilled to embark on a new chapter for both the ATCC & the GTOR.
As decided on upon as a part of the agreement, the ATCC Regs, procedures, etc. will stay the same. The only thing that changes is the title. (Now (GTOR) Australian Touring Car Championship)

Unfortunately I will not be able to attend this week's round at Indy.. 
. Is there drop rounds by any chance? .
I might still pre-Q though... I could possibly make the second race if that's allowed, just not sure on time wise. @NW48 have you removed the race event scheduling? Can't seem to find it anymore in the OP.
Should also mention that as much as I'd love to do more racing, I don't think I'll be able to enter many Grass Roots Challenges either sadly.

If I was anyone else, I wouldn't let you join on the basis of your many past indiscretions of never showing up, but since it's me and I believe in second chances, I will let you join us.
But consider this as a warning. I don't want a repeat of the RMTC & IFFC where you never showed up.
👍Yes. The Mustang has had it's BHP and PP adjusted to suit with the latest kinks in the BoP. Hopefully this is the last time we need to adjust it, but if another update comes out and skews with PP again, we'll need to BoP test again.

Just a quick whip-around with ews, @lxmmy has pulled out of the series after a good start to the championship and @Tijee will be out of action for 1-2 rounds due to medical and social reasons, and @Timlour will not be able to attend the conference Indy round due to a business competition.
So, plenty of spots have been opened up, so we should be a few short come the race.

Welcome everyone back to the ATCC, the best touring car series based in Australia!! After a fortnight's break, the ATCC fires back into life at the legendary Indianapolis Circuit. A reduced field is expected, with an expanded Group A field to replace the small Group B field that will grace the track.

21:50 GMT+10 ~ Room Opens
21:55 GMT+10 ~ Cars Allowed On Track
22:10 GMT+10 ~ All Cars To Pitlane
22:11 GMT+10 ~ Tech Inspection
22:15 GMT+10 ~ Manual Gridding Process
22:20 GMT+10 ~ Race 1 Begins (20 Laps // 1 Mandatory Pitstop)
23:00 GMT+10 ~ Race 1 Concludes

Just a reminder that if you haven't completed a minimum of 1 Pre-Q session, you will be forced to start at the rear-of-field.
Group A & Group B Passing
We had a few issues with this at Tokyo so to clear things up, I have made a simplified version of the rules of the road when passing other class cars.
- If a Group A car approaches a Group B car, it is the responsibility of the Group A car to pass safely, however, if it is safe to do so, the Group B car should yield off the racing line safely.
Pit Lane Entry/Exit Lines
Now that we are at a track that has these lines, it is important to acknowledge these lines. Failure to do so will result in a 'Dangerous Driving' penalty.
Safety Car
The Saftey Car will be used as per usual, providing that we do have a Safety Car driver to begin with.
Use of Text Chat
Use of Text Chat will be strictly forbidden throughout the entire round, unless asking a question to ONLY @NW48 or giving a simple Good Luck/Race. Any other communication must be done via PSN PM. Failure to follow this may result in disciplinary action.
Recovery Time
There will be a maximum of 10mins recovery time (Disconnection/Rejoining waiting time) before a race, this time will begin once two or more people DC from the room. Once the time is up or all the problems are resolved, the race will start, no matter what.
Final Housekeeping
I will be able to make it tonight, so @Ph1sher can get that little bit more time to sleep in instead of getting up earlier to host.
I hope to see as many people there as possible and hope we have a better night with the servers then we did a fortnight ago.
