UNC Motorsports confirms second ATCC season.
Team owner and driver Pubs16 has announced their return to backup their Group A Independent Team Championship title and are back with a determined team to get him in contention for the Group A Drivers Championship. Unfortunately last season prevented any real opportunity as vital championship points were missed due to the driver not being available to attend some clashing rounds.
While worries of the GTR being axed by the ATCC are put at rest, UNC remains as a factory independent heavily supported by Nissan and are excited to continue their GTR program within this series. Their GTR will be running Dunlop Tyres in the new Tyre Manufacturer Championship.
The team was also spotted testing their ATCC spec GTR at the Trial Mountain Circuit on Wednesday! Pubs16 had brought the car a long with their GT3 GTR in the team's transporter while at a test session for the GT Global series, spotting a perfect opportunity to get some fresh track time for the touring car.

is this still going? Haven't heard anything yet. I'm not going to announce a car before I know what specs and what tracks are running.

Yes this is still happening. I've just been busy drafting up calendars and trying to find the best baseline specs to start testing.

haha, no worries. I just went through the process of balancing 9 cars to be equal to each other for the season to not start. It will run another time probably.

The draft regulations will be released to the public on Saturday. Following this, everyone will be encouraged to test the specs and check the parity. The following week we will hold our first Pre-Season event at a yet to be determined time and track.

Though I actually meant its specs. It's the only new car and the rest can test using their old specs but the Subaru can't.I haven't had the chance to test the Subaru yet, but I'd imagine you'd find one somewhere in the Tunes section, just use it as a base and build on based on your liking.

If your looking at this thread and considering joining ATCC, I highly sugguest you to give it a go. It's a blast as @NW48 keeps everyone very active on GTPlanet with all the fun posts to read! This series has a lot of potentional Season 2 for ATCC could really get some hype!

I'm waiting for information on this series rather than a bunch of cars in a list and a load of rules.
If your using old specs for the cars put them on the current season post and if they change update the post.
I'm looking forward to this but it's taking a rather long time to get basic info such as a potential calendar and a preview of the car specs.

It takes time to get things to perfection. I can't just click my fingers and have everything done. I do have quite the busy life and I've had to work around it just to get this rolling. I will say that base specs and the calendar will be up this weekend, just like I said a few days ago. I do appreciate the patience among everyone.
