Heh, I have an optical mouse... a wonderfully precise Logitech MX 500-- Though, I don't do any gaming.

I don't really like that mouse.

Here is a pic of my mouse. The blue light is not the laser and you can remove the blue bit at the back and stick a picture on your mouse.

My razer boomslang has twice the amount of dpi as any optical. It's a ball, but it's a really good one. Well worth the cleaning every month. I have 3 microsoft optical explorers and they are all broken, the wires went out on all of them. The razer ran me $100 but it's outlast'd 4 other mice, and it's still running perfect.

Here is the mouse I'm using. Its a pretty good mouse. Havent had no troubles with it yet.

Because they're good.

And mine has 8 bootons! (Though I really need 10 to be more efficient, but whatever... )
