Theyre amazing splits arora, well done!

Are you still using 200 gearing?

Thanks :) I've yet to capitalize on it though, can't get the last hairpin right. I'm still using 200 but might try something else in order to try 2nd gear.

Man, you're losing 2 seconds in 2 corners with TCS on.

This is one of the easiest combos ive driven where drifting can come naturally.

Try it!

You'll be a faster GT driver in no time.

Trick is to go a lot slower than you think, and you'll end up a lot faster than you thought.

Good luck

:irked:👍

Kenny would be right up there and without TCS if he did not have to change to the DS2 due to shoulder surgery. 👍

But we appreciate all the tips we can get. :dopey:

I couldn't agree more, don't anticipate and expect to be faster, instead listen to the tires and focus on your throttle control and you will see the limits of TCS :ouch: lol

I hope to try this one out Erik 👍

One last session tonight saw more improvement. I did not quite surpass the goal I thought I might, but I am still happy with my progress. :)

14.748
36.448

Time Submitted.

Looking forward to running the next one, having a ball with this. 👍👍

Kevin

I couldn't sleep so decided to have a few laps on this and boy am I rusty with GT4 :scared: I ran it for about 10 laps with no TCS struggling to stop it spinning its arse everywhere  Anyway I gave in and put the TCS on to make things easier on myself ... got a 14.526 / 35.620 clean and will submit that 👍
I did have a 14.404 / 35.491 with a tiny off next to the illusive cone :ouch:

Sorry I don't race GT4 now as I found something better :sly: this is just seeing out my final obligations before putting this game on the shelf for good!
Good Luck to all and I'm sure I will cya's very soon online for some paint swapping :) 👍

Cheers Ron, I'm counting the days until gt5p. I'll post the next one soon guys.

UPDATE: board should be current 👍

I'm really curious now to see what the next one is (is it the Citta di Aria one? Hopefully not.). And to see the results of this one. Ron, I know you're rusty, but you're still too fast for the rest of us. I'm sure you're last sector is better than mine even though we're nearly even through T2. But I hold out some hope, still... mostly that VEXD and arora don't get a chance to finish off a lap they're happy with!

Having the Thursday off again. :D

14.601
35.966

200 and TCS. TCS was unquestionable faster for me.

Time submitted

Nah mate I'm sure I left a few tenths all over the track and my last turn is pretty much tiptoeing around that turn :ouch: I'm sure you will be safe 👍

Not too confident looking at the Citta combo either :scared:

I'm still running :dopey: The last sector is still biting my arse but I'll have some time here and there throughout the day.

14.360 / 35.504

I'm chasing a 35.38 but that does not mean too much.

UPDATE: Niels, RonB, and me 👍

I ran out of time, so i'll have to do with whatever the sub i make gets me.

But its from a lap i did last week, that i never got round to bettering. (damn that pesky "real life"):dopey:
Anyway, good luck everyone, with Mr P showing up, im bound to be off the podium now.

Sod off back to GT5 you.... :grumpy:

Wish i was there with you.

:irked:👍

A few more laps for lunch.

14.430 / 55.178

I'm still not happy as I should get another .3 at the line.

Er, you do mean 35.178, right?

That's an unbelievable T2 there. Great job, I'm not good enough on wet to know how much throttle input I can do without spinning the tires. TCS surely eats time away, but it's easier and frankly more fun for sliding around on the wet surface.

Spreadsheets up :)

Congrats to all the tops  and all who put one in 👍 Time to start watching the point standings, some close races going on there.

Wow, I didn't expect that! Nice job by everyone to get around well on the slippery surface, and especially to arora, who seemed to do just that especially well. Crazy time, man! Plus, you thought up this great combo! I loved it; I just wish I could have been in town for the first two weeks, because I'm having a lot of fun with this series.

Well done guys! ... Awesome laps from you two 👍 Well done for the win Eric

Well done to everyone else who took on this combo that to me was similar to steering a shopping trolley with 3 wheels ;)
Not really sure I will be running the Citta Reverse combo as I have never raced on it before even for 1 lap and too far over the hill to try learning it ... will try to make the effort but cant promise. 👍

Great times Erik and Austin. 👍

After the first 10-20 laps, it actually was a quite enjoyable combo. :dopey: :D

Oooooohhhhh..... it is getting close!

I wish id set aside more time now, i could have beaten my time by a good 7 tenths, given the time to run it....

Well done everyone, see you in the next!

👍

Wow, I thought when I took 2 seconds of my best time I would do OK. But last?
You all ran great lap times on this one. Well done to all, especially Erik.

Congrats to the tops. 👍 Great showing, Erik! I had fun with this one. Wish I would have tried TCS now that I see those great times with it, but I am guessing throttle control is much easier with the wheel. I ran out of time to try and match these splits with a great last sector. Knew I was losing some in both the hairpin and the final sweeper.

Tried a few on week 4 last night, but clean ones are tough to come by. Sure I will get lucky this weekend. Nasty twist, Erik, using a FR car on the reverse track. Having that power on the front with 4WD cars helps keep it off the walls coming down that first hill.

 you're killing me

If this is your last gt4 excursion I'm glad it's here, I know you well enough to say.... with the series win in your sites you will find a way around citta ;)
