I enjoy this particular group and while I tend to stay in everyones rearview I learn more here than, let us say elsewhere. Just went back and finished "gold" in all my B lic. everything else has been upgraded to silver. I guess you can teach an old dog some tricks!:sly:

I'll be around as much as possible and support your efforts here. Nice combo:tup: and hope to improve on my times later in the week if my eye ever goes down.

As for Ron and the rest of the aliens.....................:bowdown: :cheers:

I have sore legs and a sore back now. I think i did about 50 laps in total.
It seems everyone is using 260 max speed. Im lucky to do a 1:12 with this setting, and i am using 290. Guess it comes down to driving style etc.

Anyway new splits are,

34.174 / 1'10.802

I'm using 250. Only because Ron and Erik did. Never experimented with it. Been focusing on staying on the track. :dopey:
 
I feel bad for not updating before but my fastest lap was done using 260 top speed ... sorry Niels but it is much faster :ouch: It was only your post that prompted me as I only tried it on my final session before submitting .. sorry bout that :dunce:

The good thing is you will see your 250 ghost demolished straight from the start line with 260! .. you just have to hold it to the finish then ;)
 
Left eye is still almost closed but I can't stay away. :crazy:
slight improvement and I'll be glad when I can see out of both eyes.:grumpy:

Heh. :) Don't sweat Ron. I could have done my own testing instead of just following: And to be honest my problem has been to keep it fast and steady at the same time. Much more important, than the hypothetical tenths to be gained from a better gearing. :dopey:

But with that said, I sure will give the 260 a go in my next session. :D
 
Finally gave this a more serious attempt. Keeping it clean but being consistantly slow on a couple of the crucial bends.

I made a video of my lap earlier in the week and added some cool Linkin Park soundtrack to it which makes for a more viewed video on youtube imo :sly: so anyway! .. if you dont wanna hear a track off the new Linkin Park album then turn your volume down ;)

(Ron,I watched the vid,amazing how you could keep the high gearing.
I tried it myself but wasn't able to get the back of the car turn in properly.
