This is a good one I think :dopey: I own a Starion, an '89 street car, it is not 4wd but does have a limited slip and 300+ ponies, so I'm partial, sue me

anyway just keep of the walls and have fun 👍

great erik, but also this version of paris is not for me :grumpy:
round 6 please? :)
👍

Damn! :ill: ........................... Who the hell is the fool that came up with this one? ......... oh, waite....... :dopey:

Na, it's a blast, there is a bump before the high speed right that kills me though :ouch: my first super snail spits

37.525 / 1'08.486

Hope you guys like it, I'm gonna run a bit more tonight and see what I can really do. 250 topy btw

Erik

EDIT: Switched to 240 and got this, 37.385 / 107.980, I'm leaving so much out there I'm imbarased but hey gotta get it started. Triumph is just a little umph after you try, hahaha

Na, it's a blast, there is a bump before the high speed right that kills me though :ouch:

Try to stay a car width of the wall there. That should do the trick ;)

I ran Opera with rally cars too many times already, but not with the Starion yet. I've driven that car only once or twice, but since it's a Group B car, it must be an entertaining drive

Looks like a good one. I hope to get on this next week. In the meantime I found a LINK with some info on the car, if anyone is interested... 👍

Great "link" Jake, now if I can only negotiate the streets of Paris with it I'll appreciate it more I suspect. :scared:

Don't have a lot of time with the big move coming up but, I'm running a few laps verrrrry late at night. I'll post later tonight or in the morning.

Was up your way the other day coming back from New England. 84, 91, wilbur cross pky, merrit pky to 287 and home. I just avoid 95 at all costs eh??

I hear you, used to take that route when I was going to college at UCONN. The merrit is a good choice over 95, definitely. I traveled a lot on that road... certain sections are a lot like a race track. There's one turn there that has a decreasing radius on a off-camber downhill. Too much speed into that one would spell instant disaster! :scared:

This is a blast! .. I'm amazed how much grip there is with RM tyres :dopey: I love it and think it's the best combo yet  .. I have run this track on one other occasion over a year ago and the car was not as fitting as this one and I never enjoyed it one bit :yuck:

Top marks Erik  ... here's my first splits and expect loads to come off when i am comfortable with the track and its million corners :P

.. 35.925 / 1'06.092

I'll be back .. and i'm not looking forward to Hugo's splits as I know he won a BC race on this track :scared: Good luck to all racing this one 👍
Cheers
Ron.

Thank you Ron! :) It really does mean alot to me that you are running this, and if you like it too, well

I'm only 2 sec's off the pace  and I'm sure Hugo will be blazin too....

Erik

Cheers mate :) It just takes a little bit of risk to chop it down on this I suppose
ran another few laps ..

35.909 / 1'05.707 ( Lost a good .4 in the section before T2 so still some to get )

I know I will be a sec down on whats possible here but as long as it's enjoyable I am happy :) 👍

As always, I'm in everyone's rear view but, Erik, this is a great combo!!:) 👍 I'm having quite a bit of fun with this one, who'd of guessed.

In any event here's my first attempts:

38.037
1'10.480

Edit: Found a little improvement. I hope I can find more time to run this combo it sure is fun and I know there's more out there for me.

37.488
1'09.387

Just ran some laps here, my 1st time ever on this track I think, and this car! It's nice and grippy :)

36.562 / 1'07.026

Tons of room for improvement yet 👍

I'm gonna run a few tonight and see what I can do.....

Started the Board:

EDIT: Still fumbling around with the gears, this one with 270 36.570 / 1'06.878 oh and thanks for the tip Hugo :) now I just get past the bump and go outside in, still with a lift, can it be flat? I know I can do better in the last sector too, as going foward I'm much quicker through that little s......

I just ran another session on this and I still love it 👍 here's my splits from my best save so far ...

35.623 / 1'05.292 ( been .1 faster at each split ) running 240 auto

I took .5 off my old save at the line and I'm pretty happy with this lap, If I get another chance to run I will, but I'll only be chasing down roughly .3 at the most within my own capabilities .. chances are this will be the one I submit though ;)

Top Marks for a cracking comp Erik  I look forward to a 2nd series sometime in the future 👍
Cheers
Ron.

Cheers Ron, that's looking mighty fast mate 👍

I got another time, still with 270, I can find some 35.9's with 280, I can't carry speed well enough to use 240 as I'm probably one gear lower in some critical spots with it.....

36.133 / 1'06.276

Updating Ron and Me 👍

Finally got back so I'm going to give it a go...

37.291
1'07.962

ok first splits and damn im so close to everything it seems like lol

0'36.374
1'06.403
(clean)

It's taking me a while to get this thing in a groove, but I'm feeling better now....

35.816 / 1'05.995

Lost time in the bus stop, if thats what it's called, right before t2 but the end was good :)

Updating Jake and Me 👍 EDIT: and Mike

Getting closer to Kel but I'm all over the street.

36.766
1'07.035

edit: 36.724 / 1'06.562

Damn you guys are fast. :scared:

36.925
1'07.851

I have raced here once before at a minor LAN meeting in Sjaakland. After 5 laps I came in 25 seconds after number 5. :grumpy:

I just beat my best at the line by .2 but I did not look at the splits as I knew I brushed the inside on the first roundy :( anyway at least I know I have a little more in me :)

We ran this foward in the last rbn Niels, you did well on that one didn't you?

EDIT: I went back and checked, I just niped you there, one of those very rare occasions, I knew there was a reason I picked this  J/K

Updating Niels: 👍

Well this is tough, I just realized that my x botton is down to almost no travel, so I swithed to o for gas and triange for brake, no prob..... I lost .3 on my last t1 and matched( a little better) my last t2, and beat my ghost at the line by exactly .1, (in theary .4 faster with a 1'05.6) so...... I'm still like .8 off of Ron's pace :dopey: it's one thing to get a little quick, it's a whole nother thing to turn your blood green

I think I can get a 1'05.5xx but not sure yet, and yeah I need a new ds2 also

finally broke through a personal barrier: 36.349 / 1'06.281

Great combo, Erik 👍 The car takes some getting used to, but I'm getting there.

So far:

T1: 35.614
T2: 1'05.114

I hope to get a few more tenths off tomorrow :)

Sweet opening splits Hugo :) 👍 cant wait to see your splits after some real effort :scared: I'll get back on this before the deadline and see if I can scrape anything I may have left

Wow, who let that Hugo guy in here anyway?

Nice splits mate, I wounder where your limit on this might be......

Updated Hugo 👍
