Audi R8 (Mk1) V12 TDI Concept (North American International Auto Show) 2008

Does a supercar deserve a diesel? Of course not! But Audi changed this, and showed the V12 TDI concept in 2008 at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) And I`ve loved it ever since. Also, I`m a big fan of the Audi R8, I couldn`t pass this one.

Engine: 6.0 Twin Turbo V12 TDI
Power: 493 HP (368 Kw) and 1000nm (738 lbf-ft)
Weight: N/A
Acceleration: 4.2 seconds (0-100 kph or 0-62 mph.)

I completely agree with this.

The concept was actually a working car but the gearbox was from an A4 and could therefore only cope with so much torque.
