...as for the legend, since I have so many different cars, I don't think I'd be able to finish that in the time that I've been able to get to this point, so I'll leave it alone for now. If/when I get more serious (putting money) into this, I might do that. But for now, it's an idea...
Just had a quick glance at the list for the first time, what a list! There will always be ommissions (it's a hell of a task) but on a quick glance I notice the Aston Martin One-77 is missing, also I notice some concepts are listed so you may wish to add the Aston Martin Bulldog concept and the Lamborghini Cheetah concept. Keep going though, this could end up as one of the most comprehensive lists around.
One small query, why the inclusion of Polyphony Digital cars? Surely you aren't listing fictional cars too?
Edit: Also a more comprehensive Panther list for you:
Panter Westwinds:
Panther J.72 (1972)
Panther FF (1974)
Panther Lazer (1974)
Panther De Ville (1974)
Panther Rio (1975)
Panther Rio Especial (1977)
Panther Lima (1976)
Panther 6 (1977)
Panther Kallista (1982)
Panther Solo (1989)
Panther Solo 2 (1990)
So are you gonna put links for each car for more info about it? Or are you just going to leave your list without links?
Just to let you know, I'm in the process of counting your list. I've been hand typing numbers up for a few days now. I should be finished soon.
This is being compiled on an Excel file, right? Assuming such, what's the car count?
Also, what are the rules and format for inclusion into the list? Do the years for each car denote, inter alia, mid-life refreshes? Do you accept all rebadged international versions of a given car? If so, I nominate the Holden Jackaroo (based on the Isuzu Trooper), as well as the compartmentalisation of the Morris Minor into the Series II and MM models, the latter of which came in both high and low light forms.
It's not on Excel, it's on OpenOffice. So I have no idea what the count is.
The only restrictions for inclusion in the list:
Video Game Fiction
Design Studies
Concepts never shown in real life
Unofficially customized cars (Like the Focus near me with some decals on it.)
Renders
Ah. Still, I don't understand the rules as regarding the year(s) which appear at the end of each car.
For example, the entries for the Holden Commodore SV6:
Holden Commodore SV6 '07appear to imply that the year corresponds to the first year in which that model and series/generation combination was sold (in this case, '07' should be changed to '06', to indicate when the VE series SV6 first arrived. The '13 correctly denote the year in which the new VF series SV6 variants were introduced).
Holden Commodore SV6 Sportswagon '13
Holden Commodore SV6 Ute '13
However, this supposition is at odds with, eg, the entries below which simply capture every year in which the model was produced/sold:
Mercedes-Benz A160 CDI '98
Mercedes-Benz A160 CDI '99
Mercedes-Benz A160 CDI '00
Mercedes-Benz A160 CDI '01
Mercedes-Benz A160 CDI '02
Mercedes-Benz A160 CDI '03
Mercedes-Benz A160 CDI '04
Mercedes-Benz A160 CDI '05
Mercedes-Benz A160 CDI '06
Mercedes-Benz A160 CDI '07
Mercedes-Benz A160 CDI '08
Mercedes-Benz A160 CDI '09
Mercedes-Benz A160 CDI '10
Mercedes-Benz A160 CDI '11
Mercedes-Benz A160 CDI '12
I just add all the cars the years were made (I think it looks neater, that's how I am). The reason all of the Mercedes (and some other manufacturers) are is because I've gone through Wikipedia and checked all of the cars trims and years.

^That. If you were to catalogue every combination of model, assuming yearly hypothetical quantities for, say, 60 manufacturers as follows:
You'd end up with 60*8*2*4 = 3840 entries per year.
- Models: 8
- Body style (e.g., 2-door, 4-door): 2 per model
- Trim level (often denoted by lettering after the model name): 4 per model
Not impossible, though. I reckon if you were that keen, however, then perhaps setting up a page requesting the help of all coders on GTPlanet to set up, say, a program to actively extract car model info from certain websites using VBA for Excel and the like would make it easier. But such a program would probably be extremely difficult and/or flawed.
