I'm new here but I have been racing GT ever since GT3 came out, I've never ran against anyone online and was wondering what is the best racing for beginners like me to start out on before jumping in with both feet? I love the 600pp,700pp and gr3, gr4 classes.

Welcome. Most of us are nice. Bad apple here and there, ignore them. Make sure to read the rules and have look around before posting to many things.

Hint, wish list things need to be in the correct place, or the great forum master's will be sending you unhappy messages.

Jump in with both feet!

When it comes to Sport mode, experience is the best teacher. The mode uses DR (Driver Rating)and SR (Sportsmanship Rating) to make sure you're racing against people of similar experience and skill.

You'll start at DR E for a handful of races, and from there it's just a matter of gaining more experience as you race, rising through the ranks as you go!

I think for beginners it would likely be Gr.4 or Gr.3 with Balance of Performance (BOP) enabled, in multiplayer lobbies. It should help you get used to driving around other people without huge differences in skill/performance or having to worry too much about ratings. Battle cleanly, drive consistently, and avoid teaching yourself bad habits.

Learn how to keep a cool head.

When you get comfortable you can move on to Sport mode, and if it interests you, getting involved in a league (like SNAIL, TPC, etc.) or a community racing team to help develop.

I spent a lot of time in Free Run lobbies before I got comfortable with the idea of racing against other people, so that path is also available.
