Audi RS4 '04 - The 'Ring

Hi there,

To be able to beat the Schwarzwald Liga with 200 A-Spec points I have to use the Audi RS4 '04 with N2 tyres and a bit of balast, no power upgrades or weight reduction, other mods like racing suspension and transmission are ok as long as the power/weight ratio isn't affected.

On the first race - The Nurburgring I'll have to do a lap in about 8'14.000. I practiced and practiced but can't get anywhere near that time

Does anybody have some tuning/setting tips for me or do I just have to keep on practicing the track to get near that laptime?

so you want to use the s4 for the euro race rite? if thats the case, id have to say n2's are going a bit too far. the best tires to use are the hard and superhard tires.

but then again, as i read your post, im getting a second thought. u want to get under 8.14 with s4 and n2's....i see. if i may add, ballast is something that the s4 probably wont need since its a 4wd car. what you can do is set the final to 3.5 and make it auto 9/10 then elongate the 6th gear to the left, you should get out of corners fast and also have lots of juice for the last straight. try it a few times and make the necessary gear changes

dont feel bad...i tried as hard as i could but couldnt break better than a 7:45.xxx in a 911hp, fully tuned Skyline Nur Spec...couldnt do it. I havent bought a RS4 yet...worth the money?

Let the Audis roll. Drift them into the long curves, (yes the whole car going sideways), avoid adding weight if possible. With normal tyres, not sport or race, I get 2 laps, with no more than 425hp or so. My settings are at
