AUDI S4 to New AUDI RS4 settings please

I had done this sometime last year. Here's my settings. Let me know what you think. My car is red, and I managed to pick up the wheels from the Audi Le Mans Concept(aka the upcoming R9), and it looks pretty close to the real RS4. :sly:

Power Mods: Stage 1 NA Tune, Sports Exhaust for 415hp
Drivetrain mods: All high-end parts, including CF driveshaft and VCD
Racing Suspension and Brake Controller
I've also done a stage 1 weight reduction.

Spring Rate 12.5/11.5
Ride Height 109/114
Shock Bound 5/7
Shock Rebound 7/9
Camber Angle 1.5/0.8
Toe Angle 0/0
Stabilizers 4/5
Brake Balance 5/6
VCD=10

The setup is pretty mild, but I still ran a 7'4x" at the 'Ring. I can't remember what I had for the gearing, but I'll get back to you on that(a friend has my PS2 right now).

My tuning philosophy has changed over the months too, so I can probably make this a little better. I might even be able to use the same 40/60 F/R power distribution that the RS4 has for a more realistic feel. These settings should get you started, though.

Thanks, guys. The way I tune my gearing is a little funny, though. It might not suit your tastes. I also tend to drive the Nordschleife most of the time, so my cars are pretty much set up for that track. Suspension settings might be okay on other courses, but as far as gearing my settings might not be exactly what you're looking for.

I tend to go for close ratios for 1st-5th, then stretch out 6th. I tend to always use the highest final possible, which is usually 5.5. I actually tune for 6th first, trying to make sure that I'm not bouncing off the rev limiter with tons of room to drive. Once I have my ratio for 6th, then I try and come up with a close setting for 1st-5th.

I still don't have my PS2 back, though. I might get it tonight. For now, try:

6th: .550 or so
Auto Set: 11, 12 or whatever you can get .550 with
Final: 5.500

The two are very different cars, I don't think they'll feel the same because the RS4 is a wagen and the weight aft hepls break traction on the rear tyres.

Buy each of the RS6's and drive them you'll notice the difference. (Why do you think they are both in the game?)

Also, I believe the RS4 has longer wishbones and floating brake rotors. The RS4 is also wider by a few inches, thats why the fenders and quarter's are flared out more, (longer wishbones?).

Not quite apples to oranges, but close to it.

Opinions welcome

I think maybe you misunderstood the original post. There is a brand-spanking new RS4 out, and it is not in GT4. Like the newer S4 in GT4, it is powered by a V8. AUDI S4 MAN wanted to know if anyone had tried to convert the new S4 to the specs of the new RS4.

Just get your S4 to weigh 1650 kg and put out 420 bhp, and you are well on your way to a RS4! The RS4 has a limited top speed of 250 kph, but that you might want to scrap :) I´d say thast a good guestimation of it´s true top speed would be around 300 kph, so aim the gearing towards that!
