12 is the youngest in Australia.

That 5 year old gave birth to a baby weighing 5 or 6 pounds, as much as her probably.

I just recently learned that a girl I went to high school with (she was two years behind me) gave birth to a child when she was 11.
Her mother was my home economics teacher, and she raised the child as her own so her daughter wouldn't be faced with the stigma of having given birth at such a young age.
Everyone in school thought the baby was the mother's.

The girl in question was a fairly popular student who excelled at athletics.
I have to say that I was very shocked to hear about this, but I am glad things worked out well for all parties involved.

So, yeah, this type of thing is not all that uncommon anymore.
Apparently girls are reaching puberty/menses at a much younger/more advanced rate than they ever have before. Maybe that has something to do with it.

Hopefully I won't ever have to use the term "menses" in a post...ever again

Because sex with an under-13 year old is rape.

Not if the pedos have their way...

13 is pretty old... I'd have thought twelve was the upper limit to making an underage birth newsworthy.

Ehh??

But that's really weird. Kids are getting weirder and weirder.

Not really, it's only in the 18-19th century that men started marrying women over 16, before it was common practice to have a 30 even 40 year old man marrying a 12-13 year old, and having children.

How the hell did she find the time and place and knowledge to do this?

Simple, she was living at her mum's with a 15yr old live-in boyfriend, and the mum wasn't doing anything about it, and DOCS (Department of Community Services, supposed to look after kids in dangerous situations and deal with bad parents) simply overlooked the case and admitted fault, saying they were overstretched with not enough workers and too many cases....as a former foster carer for DOCS, I can tell you it's completely BS...they have more than enough staff, they just DO NOT have the adequately trained staff!! They get all these uni grads with no kids and give them the rights to know what's best for children. Give me a 🤬 break, these idiots couldn't tie their shoelaces together without being told how to do so by the government!

But seriously, think about it in reality, her boyfriend was 15....any 15yr old guy will screw anything, even the kitchen sink if they could work out how to bend an erection to put it down the drain! :P

No... no... you turn off the garbage disposal first, stick it in... then turn it on.

Gives you an exciting buzz... or not.
