So I came back from the autoshow yesterday, and just ran everywhere taking pictures. I wish I could have gotten fancy with composition, but due to the lack of room I could barely take any fantastic photos, so I was pretty much stuck with shots of fenders and wheels as there were people packing around the cars, getting in the cars, leaving the trunk and doors open, touching it, photobombing it all in general :grumpy:.....

I have more, but they don't load properly, so I just picked out the photos I feel are best.
If you're curious about what camera I'm using, it's a Sony DSC-P73... that same old dinky 4.1MP point-and-shoot.

Here are the photos I took in the Canon SD630.

Getting decent shots in a situation like that is really difficult I find, though I've not tried at an indoor event where at least the cars are well spaced... At outdoor stuff (club meets etc.) my kit should be more than up to the job (maybe need a few more polarising filters for my different lenses).. but the cars are normally parked next to each other , so angles really limited...

.. anyway good effort, and some great cars. :)

It's pretty tricky with Autoshows. I usually only get a few shots if any from them, so your close crops are the right idea (usually). I'll be going to this very show on Wednesday. ^^;

you got some great shots there!
i just went today and the auto exotica display was inasnely crowded.
we waited almost a half an hour to be able to walk past the PZR -.-

You totally shouldn't have went today as it's a holiday; what did you expect?Of course it's going to be packed!

Haha I know, but today was the only day that me and my dad could go together.
We've been going together for almost 16 years now, so it's better then nothing!
And we got there super early and it was empty, but we should've gone to the north building first -.-
