How you know, when you're bored with GT7. 3rd place, and under 100hours.

Y’know, it’s a bit funny. When I collected my six-star ticket for tuning into the TGR Cup final, of all things I could’ve won, I won the Lexus SC430 GT500. Which is especially splendid since I didn’t have one already, but I just find it so humorous that I won that particular car alongside the Lexus RC F GT3 that was used for the Manufacturers Cup final. What’s more is that I didn’t even have an RC F GT3 yet, though I had previously acquired the RC F GT3 Prototype.

EDIT: Speaking of Lexus, I also had previously thought that the LC500 GT300 ‘21 would make a splendid update for Lexus’ Gr.3 offerings, but then I remembered that the RC F GT3 is likely to be replaced soon with the supposed “LFR,” so I think when we eventually get an “LFR GT3,” that’ll be what replaces the older RC F GT3. I could be wrong, though - maybe we’ll get both the replacement for the RC F GT3 and the GT300-spec LC500.

Happy to see someone have the same thoughts about the game.

They did add GT Sophy which is nice, unfortunately the payouts are not that great.
Maybe they could raise the payouts a bit with the weekly challenges, like we had in GT5. That would be nice.

In terms of cars, i don't complain, i think it was a good mix of old and new. Do wish we get another track soon, maybe early 2025? :)
Agree they could do more with Sophy in upcoming updates.

Has anyone else noticed that since the introduction of Sophy, the "Regular AI" in the game has gotten much better and more competitive and realistic? I remember what the AI used to be like with all the cars evenly spaced between each other directly along the optimal driving line. Nowadays it's much different, and I actually enjoy several of the races. I'm almost exclusively a single-player mode guy (with the exception of the Online TTs), so this has made the game more enjoyable

Sure but PD did not make it for us.

And I am not sure how many think it is important to have 0 mileage cars 😅 outside of a small niche of weird folks like here.
Precisely my thought. Since we're kind of in our own echo chamber here on GTPlanet, I think many people overlook the fact that we are the exception, not the rule, when it comes to the overall target audience of GT7.

It's been fun reading the comments about the new demo on this thread. It sounds like it's a perfect idea from their marketing department to go after an untapped audience just around Christmas when there will certainly be some kids with new PS5s under their Christmas tree this year. And if their parents didn't get them GT7, the demo will likely encourage them to cough up $30 more of their XMAS money to Sony/PD for the privilege of playing arguably the best racing franchise in history.

As for us enthusiasts, as @Scaff, @OldandSlow, and others have said, it seems there are a few nuggets of joy in the demo for us as well. I'm certainly motivated to check it out now :)
