ok guys this is the situation , i was looking to have a new avatar yesterday and after clearing it with loudmusic , i went into his collection and went about changing my avatar ! but !! it went wrong , the avatar i wanted would not be accepted by gt planet , i was not sure what had happened and i tried numerous ways to change the file type from art file to gif or jpg , it wouldn't have it ! it seems that the only ones accepted are the moving avatars ? so i looked about and clocked bart dancing at the side of you now , as a tester i tried to change this as my avatar and it accepted it ,cool , but it was only a tester i am not interested in keeping it so i went back to my profile to change it all back and to my horror my f1 avatar is gone and i know why , i had a virus a few weeks ago and done a system restore , now my f1 is gone and i'm stuck with bart now i'll get to the point i know there's some pretty wicked avatar makers out there , so if somebody has the time , is there any chance of making or suggesting a good idea for an avatar for me , coz if i have to watch bart any longer i'll do a homer on him " why you little ..." i know one of you guys will help me out i need an avatar quick guys pleeeasseeee !! thanx

i found it eventually but it had an x on it with no picture and when i right clicked on it ? it disappeared

hey thanx loudmusic , only one prob man , thats not my avatar ! well it was a trial one that got improved and enlarged i am after the one that spells wot and not wat , anyway thanx from mr technically innept , but hey i can kick ass on gt3 so i think i should be allowed this short coming cheers for your efforts

I have 12 pictures of my car that I would like to have made into an avatar like the one I have now(minus the scrolling words). If anyone can do this for me, please PM me, and I'll give you all of the pics I have. Thanks everyone.

If you describe it in detail, it's probably kicking around in one of my internet caches somewhere, as long as you didn't change it out before Oct 15th!

Thank LoudMusic for the idea of checking the internet cache. I have 3 HD's of unsorted junk, and realized that it might be in one of my older Windows installations.
Saw alot of old avatars that noone uses anymore... Gave me a good laugh...

Any Idea how many Gifs a 2 Gigabyte internet Cache holds? Let me say... It's a bunch. Better off my way, go into the folder, and sort by size (Since Pako made the avatar, I know that it will be within a few bytes of the 26k limit.) and XP Thumbnails everything, so sorting them was easy as pie...
