AXC Truebrake mod tips appreciated

Hello. I have just installed my truebrake mod and I have to say that the feeling is very good because, to me, it does delivers what is promised. However, it had been quite a while since I had removed the rubber thingy in the original brakes and I was quite adapted to braking by positioning and I was fairly quick. Now, I will have to readapt to pressure braking and so more realistic muscle memory. So, any tips are appreciated. Even tough I was rather quick with position braking, the Logitech mechanism is very fragile and prone to get messy with dust (I use an inverted pedals kit), so no regrets. I even want to replace the gas pedal accelerometer for the new AXC position accelerometer in the future, for the aforementioned reasons.

Practice practice practice. That’s about all I can say.

I can’t speak for that mod but going pressure-based took some adjustment for me. Mostly I had to find the right pedal stiffness so it felt like the pressure I put on it correlated to what the car was doing. Too squishy and I may as well have been position based. Too hard and I was constantly locking them up since I had to increase the sensitivity so much to make up for lack of travel. Don’t be afraid to experiment and don’t let anyone tell you “it’s like a race car race car brakes are that hard.” Do it how it feels right.
