Maybe it was discussed earlier, but I didn't find it.
Сan we set the time for different parts of the weekend?
For example, the practice should be set at 10:00, the qualification at 13:00, and the race at 15:00.

Anyone knows good group b rally cars mods? Most of the ones I’ve tried have bad interiors or physics.
There's none yet, not at the physics level at least. Well, the lancia delta S4 by rallylegend on RD is old and a bit obsolete but it's a well made mod st least

has someone here a updated ui_car.json with more text for the t78 bmw 635 csi?
Here is the text, I have put into that car (t78_635csi89_dtm). It is a combination of the english and the german wiki-site (translated). I hope this is, what you are looking for:

In 1982, the European Touring Car Championship transitioned to Group A regulations, prompting BMW to move from the 3.0 CSL to the 635 CSi. BMW Motorsport produced approximately 50 competition chassis between 1983 and 1985.

From 1981, the 635 CSi was successfully used in touring car races in Group 2 by teams and tuners, some of which were supported by the factory, or even by the Schnitzer Motorsport team[16], and from 1982 in Group A, driven by drivers such as Dieter Quester, Marc Surer, Hans-Joachim Stuck, Gerhard Berger, and Roberto Ravaglia.

Since BMW does not use its own factory vehicles, the racing vehicles are created in cooperation between BMW, parts suppliers, and the actual racing teams. The body for the racing 635 is specially welded at Karmann, and BMW supplies the chassis and brakes, the safety tank, and aerodynamic and equipment parts in a special parts kit. Since at the time only Alpina was able to carry out the necessary reprogramming of the engine electronics, all racing engines come from Alpina. The price for a body including parts kit was 120,000 DM in 1983, the engine cost another 35,000 DM.[17]

Although the coupé, which could reach speeds of up to 250 km/h and had just under 300 hp, lacked a little in terms of power compared to the 420 hp Jaguar XJ-S and the turbocharged Volvo 240 with 350 hp, its reliability, driver-friendliness and, not least, relative economy meant that it won the European Touring Car Championship three times by 1986, in 1981 with Helmut Kelleners,[18] in 1983 with Dieter Quester and in 1986 with Roberto Ravaglia.

In 1983, 1985 and 1986 the 635 CSi won the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, which was part of the European Touring Car Championship at the time. The coupé was successful in the 24-hour races at the Nürburgring in 1984 and 1985.

In 1984, the year the DTM was founded, Volker Strycek won the first championship in a Group A racing car; although he had not won a single race, he regularly scored points.

The 635 CSi racing coupé was used in the respective national touring car championships in Germany, Great Britain, France, Belgium, Scandinavia, Australia, New Zealand and Japan, in the Alpine region and Great Britain in hill climbs and in France in rallycross races, but mostly as a single vehicle.[19] However, since the strength of the racing coupé lay in its reliability rather than its speed, it was not quite as successful there as in the German or European touring car championships or in the endurance races in which factory-supported teams competed with several vehicles.

I hope Kunos has approached or working with you about EVO
Thanks for your words and the anwser is No.
Actually i want to keep AC1 up to date graphics and weather wise. As long as it seems there is no free modding in AC EVO, AC1 will have a steady future with all its existing mods. There is still a big room for new features and improvements in Pure, so i have enough ideas and I will continuously deliver new things.

Hey how difficult would it be to add TV camera 7 to this Caesar's Palace 1982 track?

I have never experimented with those extra cameras.

This version has the improved ai and Quark's improvements. But it only has replay cameras 1-6. I'd really like to have that TV camera 7. Adding it would probably be a piece of cake for someone who has done those?

I can give it a try.

Can't wait to try them!
The 323 was a legendary car at the time.
I also remember the Alpina C1, it was fantastic.
Thanks mate! The car is halfway done, but there is still a bit work to do.

Hi Guys

Here is my update for brno_circuit_reworked v4.0

For those of you who know the original AC conversion to where it is now will understand how much work has gone into this track, the difference is day and night, a completely different track.

Most recently this track (brno_circuit_reworked) was updated to version v4.0 all credits to everyone who made this track a masterpiece and thank you for that!

For all other updates and authors please read the ui_track file in the ui folder.

Here are my latest updates, hope you like them :)

Installation:

- Make sure that you delete any previous version of brno_circuit_reworked

I created a video that shows screenshots of all my F1 2005 and 2007 skins that have been designed for my 2005 and 2007 Seasons.

It was a gigantic work but it's pretty good now. All circuits have a combination of 2005 and 2007 sponsors. All are period correct. No DRS signs or ROLEX clocks anywhere.

Good morning, could anyone tell me (how to modify files in the "DATA" folder) to make the "reductions and changes" of the turbo engines in the F1 mods (similar to this video, among others).

In the Automobilista 2 simulator (it is very similar), but in Assetto Corsa (using the Lotus 98T by Kunos as a base), it is very different (also comparing it with the J. Dumfries / Australia 1986 video).Thank you in advance.

Prost / Hockenheim 1983

Dumfries / Adelaide 1986

Not going to lie, as someone who enjoys AC for the racing I'm very relieved to here this - from everything I hear about ACE it doesn't sound like it's a game for me (not so interested in choosing the type of stereo for my Hyundai hatchback).

So I'm very much committed to the things Ilja, yourself and others continue to work on, which keep making my '60s racing dreams come true. Thanks so much :)

I wonder how ACE will turn out. I only care about racing, and they've said basically nothing about it. Can't say I'm particularly excited by the selection of vehicles either.

SimDream has stolen those 1993 cars from ACFL. :D I don't know which cars he used as a base. Probably 1994. But there are still ACFL notes in the data folder.

I have very limited modding skill and I've had a lot of grey hairs when trying to fix them. The 1993 cars were a complete train wreck in their base form. They flip over and crash all over the place. I changed a lot and now they're "ok".

I DID fix most crashing issues with the 82, 83, 84 and 93 cars. Well sort of.

I mean the SD 82, 83, 84 cars still have this issue when they hit the barrier they start "crawling" on the track sometimes.
I don't remember exactly. If you have them installed now, do me a favour and try to race Adelaide 1992 with say, 20-22 car race grid. If they don't have issues during the 20 laps then they probably work everywhere.
I just did a quick AI test.
  • SimDream 1993 F1 + RMi update
  • Adelaide 1992
  • 24 cars
  • 100% strength, 100% aggression
  • 10 laps
  • Race mode (not Weekend and not full championship)
I put myself in last place and activated AI driver. Results...
  • There were 2 brief crawls after a corner (no barrier hits).
  • 3 retirements
    • 1 retirement was a flip due to my AI driver dive bombing at a corner and making contact with that car.
  • Pitting was fine.
  • No pile up crashes.

Okay, that's more than enough. Clearly someone did something profoundly stupid and inconsiderate, and (whether by their own volition or not) has now walked it back.

Hopefully they'll learn from this going forward (although who knows, given the lack of progress elsewhere), but we didn't need two pages of beef brought in from other sites to here.

Keep off-site drama off-site.

Random Question, does anyone have a good replacement sound to use in V12 Diesel Peugeot 908 LMP1 car? Tomsim has a half decent car to use in the game but its using R18 etron sound.....

Spa Vintage Track Updates:

These are my updates to all three versions of the Spa Vintage tracks. They are all full stand alone tracks because it was suggested that I do it this way instead of config\track skin mods.

All versions now have a vao patch, animated flags, working clock tower and new grass and tree textures. They also have two additional track skins that get a progressively bluer tint and less saturation. The skins also have only the files I altered from the original so you can edit them to make a skin that fits your liking. There are also new ext_configs for each track that add seasonal changes, some shader adjustments and a few other things.

Explanation about each one so you know which one to download. They each represent a specific version of the track:

Spa-Francorchamps 1938:

Spa-Francorchamps 1938

-- Based on the Spa_Faux_Pre_War version. All credits for the track go to Legion.
-- Additions include all things listed above plus removal of floating flag poles that had no flags and scaling of flag poles that were floating off the ground. Plus I added collision physics to most of the haybales. Some I left without to help with AI behavior. All other things about the track are the same as the original.

Spa-Francorchamps 1966:

Spa-Francorchamps 1966

-- Based on the Spa_1966 version. All credits for the track go to the Reboot Team.
-- Additions include all things listed above plus collision physics to most haybales. Some I left without to help with AI behavior. Also included the Spa 1966 AI done by Parri. The original AI is still included in the ai_original and data_original folders. Just rename them to ai and data to revert back to the original AI behavior. All other things about the track are the same as the original.

Spa-Francorchamps 1934 & 1966:

Spa-Francorchamps 1934 & 66

-- Based on the Spa_THR version. All credits for the track go to the Reboot Team and Waffles for the THR updates.
-- Additions include all things listed above plus a new AI line for the 1934 layout done by me. The original AI was unusable. It was my first attempt at an AI line so don't expect perfection. All other things about the track are the same as the original.

Please point out any and all mistakes. I'm sure there are a few. Was kind of hard managing three versions of the same track. I was never sure if I made the same changes on all three tracks.

What is the difference between the 1966 layout of the "Spa-Francorchamps 1934 & 66" track and "Spa-Francorchamps 1966"?
And which is the better one of these two versions?

Thanks man.

It's strange that sometimes the cars behave differently in the season mode. We noticed that when we tested SimDream 80's cars at vintage Zandvoort (Sandev). They work remotely ok in the quickrace mode but in the season it's a mayhem. There are some strange things about AC that never cease to amaze me.

I will give RMI mods a go. Thanks again, much appreciated.
