Just watched the new opening video.
Here's a screenshot.

We know it is the car, what we don't know is if or when.Needless to say, that vehicle has Ayrtons name and looks distinctly Lotus-ish:
Judging by what happened earlier this year with the new NSX, Apricot Hill and Willow being in "GT5" trailers, we probably won't see a Lotus until GT7Many things in the GT series have been hinted at, strongly suggested, and outright promised, that have never appeared in the series, so don't get your hopes up over an individual car or feature until it's officially announced with a release date and specifics as a minimum.
inb4 it's just the return of the GT3 F1 cars
This. Even if it's announced, don't believe it till you download it (GT Drivers Club, anyone). Many things in the GT series have been hinted at, strongly suggested, and outright promised, that have never appeared in the series, so don't get your hopes up over an individual car or feature until it's officially announced with a release date and specifics as a minimum.
Let's hope it's not paid DLC

Nice to see Ayrton in the game
I have no problem whatsoever even if its paid DLC.
I predict that some type of Senna DLC content will be free for Brasil pre-orders, and paid DLC for the rest of us with some % of sales going to the Senna Institute. Time will tell...
As much as I HATE speculation for this...
MY RACING HERO IS COMING TO GT6!!
Bruno Senna mentioned in a interview at the brazillian GT6 launch party last monday that Senna's cars will be added to Gt6. Based on that we can expect pre-87 cars to be in the game.I thought that maybe at first, but the car in the video is specifically the 1985 Lotus 97T. The closest thing in GT3 was the 1987 Lotus 99T (F/687s), which is also the car on the monument at Goodwood. The car did come with both a yellow livery (like the real Camel livery the car had) as well as a black and gold livery (like the 85/86 JPS car). But the hint that the car in the intro is the 97T is right below in the photo. Look to the left and right sides where there are small little winglets with gold outlines at the back of the car. Those winglets are straight off the 97T seen in the real photo below. Note that they were only featured on the '85 Lotus. Not the '84, '86, and certainly not the '87 Lotus from GT3. There's no gold design in the middle of the winglets because "JPS" is a tobacco company which GT doesn't add to its cars. Same reason why "John Player" isn't on Senna's helmet.
Who knows if it's a render or something, but it definitely looks like the car is the 97T. Remember that the 97T was also present at the GT6 launch at Ascari and it was driven on the track, seen in the photos below, with Kaz even sitting in the cockpit. And with PD wanting to recreate key moments in Senna's career, that would be the perfect car to include as it gave him his first F1 pole and win at Estoril in 1985. Obviously a McLaren would probably be more desired by most people but with Kaz saying the Senna license only extends to 1987, we may not get those. At the very least there's 3 Lotuses we could get ('85, '86, '87) and possibly the Toleman ('84), as well as karts, Formula Fords and a Formula 3 car.

Yeah if the A.S.I. benefits from the DLC it's probably worthwhile getting. I don't think I've seen Microsoft/Xbox do this for Forza or any game iirc.
