[B-Spec] 1995 Indianapolis 500 Single Race

Considered by many purists to be the last 'real' Indianapolis 500

This is a B-Spec event. The AI drive the cars. However, you have control over the team's car setup. Use this to gain an advantage.

Because Indianapolis is an oval circuit, a unique skill set is required as an engineer to provide the car with the best setup possible. Only left turns are required, so instead of the traditional tuning of just front and back, in most cases the 4 corners of the car can be adjusted individually.

A maximum of 31 cars are allowed to start the race. Typically this number is 33 but because of issues with the track it will be set to just 31. More then 31 cars may attempt to qualify for the race, but only 31 will make the field. This is called 'Bump Day', where slower cars are bumped out of the starting lineup. Once a car is qualified and locked into a race, it may no longer participate in qualifying sessions.

As per Indianapolis 500 rules, qualifying times are a 4 lap average speed, not a single lap

As for the race itself, at the moment its unlikley it will be live streamed. Instead, it will be uploaded to youtube.

He selected two numbers and one car option, whereas you choose three options and three car numbers (both of which breach the parts in red). You can't have more then two numbers nor more then 1 option.

Damage repair speed increased by 100 points. Sterling Marlin can pull off the wing if it causes a tire rub.
