b spec + a spec

Am I the only one that believes the a spec endurance races should be done using several b spec drivers as well?

I don't know of any 24 hour race that requires 1 driver to drive the entire time. I don't believe it's realistic unless its done with multiple drivers. I know some will say quit whining, you can save it. So save your time, don't post if you think so.

Also, kudos to all of you who completed the endurances on their own.

Thats what I was thinking. In real life at Le Mans 24 or Nurburgring 24, there are teams of a few drivers. I'm not sure why PD didn't implement this into GT5. Here's the problem: What if your B-Spec guy drops back a whole bunch of positions and you lose every thing you've worked for?

Use your best drivers! Once they get to a high enough level they're quite good. But that's the reason it would still be a spec because you'd have to do your part.

GT4 had that, it was great.
With mid-race pauses that could make a 24hour race possible for me.

True but to me, that takes away from the endurance aspect. If it was my call, I'd allow one mid-race pause/save and use of 3 b spec drivers. W. Farrel, N. Battle and L. Holder are itching to team with me and tackle the 24 Hueres du Mans.

With mid race saves, can you do other things before resuming the race? In other words, how long can I put off finishing an "endurance" race?

That's why I haven't started any of mine yet.
I want to keep my 200% bonus and keep my paint chips coming in.
