B-Spec Battle

I have found that here at GTPlanet, there are lots of people who will shunt anyone who uses B-Spec. This is unreasonable. B-Spec makes the game more fun. I am not saying that everybody should use B-Spec, and to finish the game in A-Spec is a great achievement. Just that some people don't like to drive around a track continously for 24 hours non-stop. So stop attacking people who use B-Spec!

They feel the way they do for a reason. Anyway, what does it matter to you what others feel about the way some people play the game. Play it how you like to.

I never said it was. As I've said multiple times now, I don't care who uses it or doesn't use it and why they do or don't use it. I don't see why you do care (and you obviously do or else you wouldn't have started this thread).

You're criticising others for their opinion on B Spec. You think it's fine for people to use B Spec, they don't. It's called a difference of opinion and despite what you'd like it's always going to happen. You go on to say that using B Spec is more sensible than building hybrids. Again, that's your opinion and again (can you see a pattern here?) people are entitled to take up the opposite side of the argument. Nowhere in this thread have I given my opinion of using B Spec, hybriding or anything else other than your etiquette yet you appear of the opinion that I don't like people using B Spec. I couldn't care less.

Ah, yes. You see you're wrong now so you've resorted to insulting me thinking I'll get annoyed and start swearing at you? Or that I'll be so embarrassed that I won't reply? Well, in actual fact I do have a life. I also haven't played GT4 in a few months and my PS2 has only been on for about an hour in the last few weeks when I was testing something in GT3.

So you've come here to start a thread to shout at people who shout at people for using B Spec yet you respect people's differences of opinion. Erm...pot, kettle, black anyone? If you truly appreciated everyone's right to an opinion you wouldn't have started this thread in the first place and would just have left things as they were. Instead you came here and (seemingly) tried to force people to either change their opinion or stop voicing it? Doesn't ring true somehow...

i do believe this is pointless fight, it is true that everyone shuold be entitled to there opinion, and however people go about voicing that opinion is there business, if they believe yelling at somone will get their opinion across then this is what they will do, and there is no way you are going to be able to change them, my advice is to just ignore them and race how u want to race in the end you will still finish the game either way, i to am a b specer and have been for a while however i have great respect for those who have the time and patience to a spec, maybe one time when i find the time and the patience to a spec and enduro i will.

There will always be people who hate B-Spec mode and there's nothing anyone can do about that.. However I think that MOST of the A-Spec crowd (including myself) would just rather DRIVE the cars than watch them go round and round (duh lol) as we don't find much if any enjoyment if we're not really at the controls. At the same time though I am not 'against' B-Spec mode, I simply don't use it myself (usualy). But then again I havn't got around to the 24 hour enduros, Iwas thinking of splitting the time, much like in real life - driving for a while maybe 2-3 hours, then switching over to B-Spec to let Bob have his stint 👍 it's called teamwork, boys

You'll probably find that most people that use A-Spec do it for the RACING instead of the sitting back and WATCHING. I'd do the same thing because it's a lot more entertaining, whereas B-Spec you aren't really involved in things other than telling him when to pit and to change his driving style. I admit I use it for the endurance races because doing them in A-Spec is beyond my limit. I see no problem with hating B-Spec because of this.

Making a thread arguing that people are to STOP telling people telling off people using B-Spec will get NOWHERE because it's going to start arguments - like it has - especially after the way you are acting now which is not the right way to take things here at GTPlanet.

This does have a potential to be a good thread, but there are many A-Spec/B-Spec threads that have been made before in the past, as you may have noticed.
