So i was thinking, whats the best car for b-spec endurance races that i can just set off and leave to run? I need a car thats fast enough to be ahead without coaching, but easy enough on the tires that i dont have to come back and make driver pit every 30 mins??
Thanks

The FGT or X2010 if you want a guarunteed win, Audi R8 or C60 if you want a bit of a challenge. The AI pits automatically though if the tires or fuel are low, you dont have to tell them each time.

You don't have to worry about pitting they will do it on their own when the tires are gone or the fuel is low. No need to use pit strength at all.

X2010 is the best for grinding, no need to wear out the FGT that you can actually use in a race.

I used the FGT exclusively until I traded for a X2010. Now that's my main car. I still like to see the Bobs do the FGT championship because the FGT is so damn cool. I got 5 of them now - no dupes!

My Bobs have raced my FGT more than 15,000 miles by completing dozens of endurance races, mostly at the Nurburgring and Suzuka. Using the FGT will result in an easy win.

I use the FGT. I have one specifically for B spec.I've rebuilt the engine twice and one chassis reinforcement. It had 22k miles before I did the 24 hr le mans. I just did the 24 hr le mans yesterday and even with fresh oil it only has 886 hp compared to the 936 a fresh one has. Even still it wins every race by a mile. Won the 24hr by 57 laps to 2nd place. I have a X2010 but don't want to put all those miles and wear on it on it, FGT will do fine.

I thought about putting Bob in my ZR-1 RM for Suzuka. I know it is an overkill car, but not as bad as the FGT which I'm tired of using.

I've used my ZR-1 RM on that race before. Wins it easily as you would assume. I used it for a couple other endurance's as well, but rather keep the mileage off it since I have that one FGT with so many miles now.

I use the formula gran turismo. Note the weather conditions before you press start. Some of them are on 'might rain' days and the race goes really bad real fast if you have racing softs on. Then come back when its over. All my guys are like 22 level, they do well unsupervised.

Use only x2010 ..I am at work race gets run ,,come home change oil ..when I want it back for grinding credits --I do chassis and engine rebuild ..its got 33k on it now.

So I'm not alone! I'm getting sick of using the FGT for grinding enduros, so I'm trying others (apart from the X2010) such as the Toyota 7 (just won Indy!) and Toyota Minolta. Hmmm, NASCAR in the Suzuka 1000?

I use the NSX-R prototype LM road car for the Nurburgring 4 hour & Tsukuba 9 hour races, & the FGT for both 24 hour races. No coaching needed.

I like using the FGT better than the X1 for B spec & have an extra one just for the Bobs. For the price of one X1 I can buy four FGT cars. With all the miles on my B spec FGT (over 75,000) the horsepower is lower than on my low mile FGT. Doing chassis & engine restores doesn't bring it all back either.

Well I tried my ZR-1 RM. I wasn't pleased with my Bob's performances in it. Two level 30's, level 28, and a level 27 all had issues with the car. The constant running off the track and spinning out got old real quick. I ended up stopping the race because of it. I ended up using the FGT and going out for the day. I couldn't watch that "race".

Was this the one in the rain? I had my bobs driving the Toyota Minolta and saw they were also sliding off the course all over. Still 1st. I had them pit for rain tires, then it was ok. I saw later the bobs switched back to racing hard, but the rain stopped and all was well. In that race it seems normal for all the drivers to look like noobs when they get caught in the rain.

I assumed that setting the pit strength to 0 would stop them from pitting. Not true, they still do it anyway. Some B Spec races can only be won if you stretch out your pitsops as long as you can. Let the phy/mental levels go to 0 then run them for like 3-4 more laps before calling them in to pit

I used the Audi R8 yesterday in the Tsukuba 9 hour , no challenge. used hard race tires, Bob still had to pit at about lap 36, and still overall finish was 23 laps ahead of 2nd place. I also used the R8 in Nurburgring 4 hour, another easy finish. I've also used the Toyota 88CV and the FGT but it almost feels like cheating. I also do oil changes after each endurance race.

I set up my Corvette Z06 this morning on the Tsukuba 9 hour, because I thought the R8 was too easy and I wondered if the Corvette would be easier on the tires. I'll know when I get home after work how well that logic worked out.

On the other side of that, You may notice your Bobs going one lap too long on a really long track like Nurburgring, so they're 20-30 secs off the pace with their tyres shot.

That is when you move the "Pit Strength" bar a notch or two so they don't try to do that extra, time-wasting lap.

As soon as I won an X2010 on the Red Bull challenge, that's all my Bobs have used. Just set and forget.
