Montecarlo circuit: 13.51 my time, and second Chapparel 14.06
Fantastic setup! Thank you very much đź‘Ť

:dopey::dopey::dopey:

I tried this tonight after just visiting. Because it was so good, I registered to keep up with all the good news at GTPlanet. Thanks a lot, I won first in both races the first time.

My lvl27 Bob just crashes into to the shikanes and gets stuck...

I had the same thing over and over again until i used a +- lvl10 driver instead of a lvl28. He took the corners wider and managed to stay out of that left wall.

I have done this race but only after dozens of tries. I used the '67 Ford. But this sounds like it could be a fun ride in an impossible race. I will let you know this weekend when I have the time to race.

my lv 32 cool headed bob with toyota 7 (downforce max'ed, others at default) failed this race 3 times without pilot...

gonna try piloting it today

This was a perfect solution to my problem of never making it past the 2J. My driver won on the first try, and was in first place before the second lap was finished. Thank you.

I won and came back from about a 1/4 behind the fast chaparal and won to my suprise, the first 2 laps he did hit the chicane wall but after that it was smooth sailing!!!!!!!!!!

I aced on everything with the Toyota 7 except for Cote d'Azur. It was horrific to see a race car this wide attempt to overtake other AI racers in this track. Every time I'd see a potential overtake I would yell and scream at my driver to and press the overtake button. Alas, he'd just do something like speed up and just brake real hard. It was very frustrating.

No matter how much I changed the settings on my Toyota 7, I'd always slot in for silver finish if not third. Finally, after some number of tries, he did it. The nightmare was over and I was awarded a car more than half it's size and drives like a toy.

^ it's the chicane right after the tunnel and the chicane right before the finish line.

Both of those turns make all my bobs go crazy. It's like they're sex starved maniacs and the corners are slutty girls with huge boobs and fantastic asses. All 5 of my drivers are hopeless in Monaco. đź‘Ž

Temper too cool and they get left behind; too hot and they crash. :grumpy:

I messed with the Toyota 7 and I have a setting that you can win with almost no input to Bob.
I did this with hot and cold drivers, one with only 8 wins out of 12 races. At the end of the race I had lapped two cars and beat the other Toyota and 2J with a hot driver and lapped four cars with a cold one.
Click to see this larger. Look at the map and see that I am lapping a driver.

Check this out, the gap to the second place car is 48.5 seconds, best lap time 1:09.6

I know it is a picture of my tv but I have no other way to get the data image off the game. This is at the end of lap 5 and check out the gap.

This same set up worked for Cote just minutes later. Here I am on lap 3 just passing the 2J and seconds before passed the 330P.

Click here, last lap and check out the gap to 2nd place Chaparral.

It is so much fun to win I raced this about 4 more times, just to watch.

I would appreciate it if this works, you post it here so I know.
850 horsepower, 741 power points, 621 kg.
Medium turbo, I added 1 kg to zero position in the ballast setting, aero is 59 and 83, transmission set to 186 mph, suspension is:
-29, -23
15.1, 17.5
7, 8
7, 8
6, 6
0.5 and 0.5
0.00 and 0.34
The single most important setting, the only one that allow you to win is the LSD. 25/50/20.

That worked perfectly for me (using a level 30 Bob). At last that damn annoying Cote D'Azur historic race is won! Ironic that I'd spent the last week grinding B-Spec Dream Championship to earn enough to buy the Chaparrel 2J that never even appeared in the used car dealerships or special showroom! Grr!

^^

I appreciate the offer-I've already got the Toyota 7 race car unless there is something different about yours that isn't simply a case of tuning? If it is a tuning matter and yours has been successful I'd like your tune details if ok! :)

I'll PM you my tune tonight after I get home. It's different than the one posted in this forum. I was successful with it.

Finally got the Gold on Cot D'Azur with my Toyota 7 -massive thanks to USARMYCOMBATVET for his tune.
Used it with my lvl 31 Cool headed Bob and won on the first try!
Took the lead on lap 2, didn't hit the corner and beat the 2nd place 2J by over 18secs and that was letting him run cold after he took the lead!

My bob is dumber than dirt!! Impossible to win so far even with you 2J. Lol!! Id have to keep trying till my lucky number pops. Thanks for tips though! As soon as i hit post he somehow pulled first lol!! Finally over! Such an annoying event. If anyone is using a 2J, leave all stock and set transmission to 174 mph. Appeared to be the correct power range for this event. Just messed around with the LSD for the 2J and pulled first in 2nd lap and is sooo far ahead! 20/50/20

You are a lifesaver. Someone loaned me the 2J and these settings put me into 2nd place by the first lap. Now my only problem is trying to get in a race where the 2J is behind me to start. They seem to always start in pole position. Also, keeping him "cool" caused him not to hit that stupid corner coming out of the tunnel. I think most of it is when cars are around he'll try to pass and boom, you're stuck.

Brilliant - was really struggling with this one - Toyota 7 race car & a level 23 cool Bob - tried the race only 3 or 4 times & could get no better than 10th - changed the set up as per ronsmaps & first time - Bob won by over 16 seconds (with a little gentle nudging from me now & again)....

Thx for the great set up.....
