That's my estimate based on my own remote-racing experience.
A few things to take into account:
Provided all above requirements are met, you should be able to net about 4m XP/day. You need a total of 34.6m XP to get to 40, so 34.6/4 gets you 8.65, give or take half a day.
Most of the time is spent going from 35-40 (24.5m XP) - it only takes about ~2.5 days to go from 0-35.
edit: you should also net yourself roughly 20m CR (combined) along the way.

- Drivers must participate in races with a large field (13-16 drivers); more drivers=higher average XP/CR payout.
- All bobs must be in continuous use a minimum of 20-22 hours/day.
