From my experience, while there's the whole element of using your computer and web browser that involves a couple of other steps, when you Remote Race on your PS3 there really isn't much to it...

Pick a race.
Add one of your shared/online drivers.
Add up to fifteen drivers your PSN friends have set for shared/online racing.
Watch the race.
Repeat as desired (or cash in the credits your shared/online drive has earned - as long as they're not in the middle of a race).

Running the B-Spec Autogrinder on my second account, PSN: chewbakke
Hoping to stop using that fairly soon and just use main account, PSN chewie_bacca.

I run the autogrinder while at work or asleep so that's gotta be about 18hrs a day during the week.

If you're serious about grinding, please add both accounts but don't put main on reciprocate as it won't get used. You will see use on chewbakke.
I'll remove second account friendship when I stop using it.
