Backweb Agent

[Cobraboy]

Whenever my computer lags or freezes I go do the CTRL+ALT+DEL thing-me-bob and I find that 'Backweb Agent' is always high up on the list. Whenever IE freezes, it's never there, Winamp, its never there. It seems that whenever it runs it freezes, my entire computer.

What is it and What does it do? Should I keep it or get rid of it? Whenever I try to uninstall it, it comes up with a ****load of errors, and wont uninstall...

I have Ad-aware 6.0 Professional. I use Ad-watch 3 to monitor changes...

i used to have that backweb agent on my old hard drive before it crapped out on me. whenever i did ctrl alt del it was never repsonding either....i dont know where the hell it came from. i was running ME then, im on XP now. what OS do yo have?

I skimmed through the readme file, it mentions a bunch of Adware/Spyware stuff. I'll try and uninstall it again.
