City could have to wait until next week to find out if they've got Benjani, the paper work needs to be checked and the timing of it being sent to the Premier League.

I was getting worried watching the Tottenham game, looked like we were going to lose. Tottenham counter atacked well but they sat behind the ball most of the game, I would argue that thier goal shouldn't have been allowed since Jenal handballed when he went down, but there was decisions that went both ways and they could have had a penalty when the ball hit Evras arm. So that evened itself out. It's a relief that we scored, pretty much right at the end of the game, keeps us within one win of Arsenal which important.

Looks like Eduardo could be ou for a very long time. Just been "horrifically" injured after a challenge by Birminghams Taylor who got a straight red. Its expected to be a broken leg and no one really knows how bad it is. Here are some quotes from the BBC to elaborate:

BBC News
Eduardo is given oxygen as he is stretchered from the pitch after eight minutes of treatment. Nicklas Bendtner replaces him. We have not been allowed to see a replay of the incident - which probably tells you horrific it was.

Thankfully, you rarely witness scenes like these. The Arsenal team are looking around in absolute horror at the fate of Eduardo, who is being attended to by several medics.

Martin Taylor gets a straight red after a challenge on Eduardo. Cesc Fabregas urgently tells the physio to attend to Eduardo, with the rest of his team-mates looking shocked. The striker is badly injured

Sky sports on which the channel is live on also said the replay could not be shown due to the horrific nature of the injury.

The only time you see it is live from the normal TV camera but you can barely see what happens, looks like a normal challenge.

Ouch, nasty stuff that. He might play Le Arse but I neve like to see players go off badly injured. He'll be out for a long time, into next season I should imagine.

That's a bit of a nasty nip.

I think he's going to need some frozen peas for that. I'm sure Milford Cubicle would agree.

Nah, I predict 4-2 to us at the end:P

Wenger seemed pretty adamant that hes out for the rest of this season and much beyond or something along those lines.

Well a triple brake must be 14months alone? Plus rehab then match fitness. I think we'll see him towards the end of next season rather that the start.

I think Wenger's wrong to say Taylor should never play football again. It was late and clumsy nothing much more.

Yeah, was definately harsh of Wenger to say that, it was late and clumsy and Eduardo is kinda fast. Still deserved a red though.

Match of the day just showed a slow motion full view replay of the challenge and all I can say is ouich..really really nasty to watch.

Wenger has retracted that comment now. He says he made it in the heat of the moment (even though it was 90 minutes later...)

Its amazing he even saw the incident...

At least Newcastle tried, they didn't match our quality and they were sloppy at the back a couple of times but at least the fans are seeing effort now, something that resembles a football team.

Newcastle just have to stay up, write this season off and see what Kev can do in the Summer transfer window.

As it stands, it's been a great day (minus Eduardo's injury), Arsenal dropped points, we won, England beat France, I'm a happy bunny right now.

Are Arsenal cracking under pressure or are they just having a run of bad luck. That is the title deciding question. They've failed to win in their last 4 gaems, they got beat 4-0 by Man U in the cup then drew against Milan, drew against Birmingham and then drew against Villa which was a last second goal. They don't look like they have as much coinfidence now, Fabregas hasn't been close to his best since last year and while they have as many first team contenders in thier squad as Man U they don't have as much strenth in thoes additionl options.

Their lead is down to 1 point, it would be easy for me to jump onto the "they've lost it" band wagon, but I still believe that the Man U v Arsenal match at OT will be the crucial game.

First off I'd like to express how happy I am that Man U are now 3 points clear at the top. We didn't play that well besides a brutal onslaught early on in which Ronaldo bagged the only two goals of the game. After that chances were wasted too much, Nani in particular wasted a glorious chance to pass to Rooney who would have been one on one with the keeper but shot high and wide instead. But anyway, Tottenham 4 - Chelsea 4, what a game that was. I only saw the highlights but bloody hell, it had everything. Great play, heavy tackles, individual brilliance, team brilliance, sloppy keeping and good keeping. I'm happy Chelsea dropped 2 points which makes the game better from my perspective but regardless of the table that was an awesome game.

Please. Please can we beat them today it's been too long.

Gerrard and Torres vs. Ronaldo. scared much? I am
:(

CMON BOYS!!

Its one of the most famous fixtures in the English top flight.

Manchester United Vs Liverpool

Man U unbeaten in the last 7 games agaisnt Liverpool, however they make 8 changes to their side. Liverpool are unchanged.

My prediction:
Man U 2
Liverpool 1
