Other than the aftermarket parts featured in the Forza Horizon 5 (and pretty much the Forza Franchise as a whole), some cars actually have selectable aero upgrades from other trim levels, including limited versions and base trims, and I have decided to try to compile every single trim level I can find for every car. I'll start off the list with the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT, which has the bumpers of the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk II concept, as well as the base trim's bumpers (I am not sure of the trim, but it reminds me a bit of the Overland). Here are the in-game images of these customization parts on the Grand Cherokee SRT.

I am wondering if there are more parts from other vehicle trim levels (including parts from actual racing/rally cars produced by a manufacturer) that can be applied to FH5's cars, cause I appreciate the fact that Playground Games/T10 decided to dedicate additional attention to detail by allowing players to turn some of its high-performance cars into its base models, visually.

If you guys have found any interesting aftermarket parts that are actually made by a car's manufacturer rather than an aftermarket parts brand, feel free to post them here.

Correct, with those headlights and that bumper, that would be the Overland trim level. However the grille should be body color (can it be painted or have decals placed over it to do so?).

Okay... I could use some additional clarifications regarding the exact year/trims of some cars.

But first, you could also turn the Nissan Fairlady Z 432 into the the exact Fairlady Z that won the 1971 East African Safari. There is a similar case with the Ford Escort RS Cosworth, and the Renault Alpine A110 1600s.

Okay, here's what I can identify from the cars you mentioned. The 2002 Acura RSX Type S has the facelifted RSX Type S front bumpers, while the Porsche 911 Turbo 3.3 has the 964 fascia as a selectable aero part.

Now, here are some additional stock trims that I need clarification for these cars, specifically, the estimated year/trim level/official modification for these cars:

Nissan Skyline GTS-R [R31]

Volvo 850R

Toyota Celica GT-Four RC ST185 (It's a stock trim, but is this from the European or American model?)

The Skyline R31 bumper is a body kit from a Japanese R31 Skyline specialty shop called "R31House".
Supposedly they avoided licensing this shop and added it to the game as a Nissan brand.

And the Volvo 850R bumper is a front bumper for the Volvo 850 saloon that was entered in the BTCC.
This kind of racing style body kit is also seen on several other cars, such as the C1 Corvette, Volkswagen Scirocco R etc.

  • 1999 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI - Tommi Makinen Edition front bumpers
  • 1992 Mitsubisbi Galant VR-4 - Galant AMG Bumpers

  • Volkswagen Rabbit GTI
  • 1990 Subaru Legacy RS
  • 2020 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro/2019 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro - OEM Running Boards and Side Steps
