Basic question

Ok, so first, a little background on who I am. I have grown up around cars all my life and been around for the modification thereof for a long time. I have thorough understanding of suspension settings, what changes affect what, and all the geometry that goes along with it. I ran a tuning shop in forza and have worked in an actual race shop doing suspension setups for quite a while.

My question is...in this game I seem to have a problem getting ALOT of cars to keep from oversteering. It seems no matter what I do to try to tune it out of the car nothing is helping...it is mostly happening off throttle entering a turn either off throttle or under trail braking. It's not only tail happy little cars it seems to span cars that shouldn't have that problem at all including AWD cars like the wrx. So anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance for any help

If it's lift-off oversteer you're aiming to reduce, try installing a custom LSD and increasing the braking sensitivity.

Alternatively, you may want to try reducing the strength of the rear brakes, or try braking more smoothly and progressively so that you can feel the weight of the car rotating.

Lastly, slap on a rear wing and set it to max downforce or set the front suspension to a increased stiffness over the rear to encourage rear grip.

Otherwise I haven't noticed this issue in any of my cars except in the Lotus Elise where I expect this to be the case.

Cheers

The fact that it's happening with all kinds of cars is weird. Is it a specific corner or all over the track? If suspension/diff adjustments aren't working, then this may be a technique issue rather than one of tuning. If you're using a lot of brake at turn-in or suddenly lifting at turn-in, this may be contributing to oversteer. The game does seem to reward smoothness...
