Batman Dies In Car Accident

I wasn't sure where this might best go... but Batman impersonator Leonard Robinson has died after being hit by another vehicle after his car broke down.

You might think you hadn't heard of him, but you've probably seen the 2012 clip of him being stopped by police. A very sad ending to the story. BBC.

This is a guy who first appeared in "Top 10 funniest" TV Series where a Black Gallardo with a Batman logo on the side being taunted recorded by police from the back. Then when asked by police, the driver comes out with a Batman suit.

I thought it was funny, until he actually show his motives on the latter news. He gives surprises to many unfortunate children. Kinda like a make a wish foundation.

Kudos for a ridiculous yet heartwarming man. He's the best.

Leonard Robinson, better known in the community as the Route 29 Batman, made a promise to a little boy that he would be there for him to help him stand up to the bullying that was going on in the kid's school during an appearance at Summerfest in South Charleston, West Virginia. Robinson died in a car crash that day.

How will the promise be kept now that the Route 29 Batman is dead? Another member of the group called "Batman's Army" (a subtle reference to the Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns graphic novel), heard about the promise and made an appearance in Robinson's behalf to spread the message about not being a bully.

There are obviously some good people floating around. It's really enjoyable to find out about that kind of thing (the work these guys have done, not the death) & it adds a lot to a day that would have otherwise seemed terrible (for me, because of unrelated matters).
