I have a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology and a Master's degree in Human Genetics.

Next question?

So then you should know that what I just said is true in regards to the chromosomes is proven fact.

I also know the rates of incidence of intersex disorders - and they are so vanishingly rare as to be only barely relevant to the point.

They are only considered so rare, as the vast majority of people out there have never had a Karyotype test done in their entire lives. Even myself as a trans individual have not had this test done, as it is not considered a standard test. Karyotype testing is only usually done in response to certain genetic disorders and diseases.

I worked as a cytogeneticist too. I can tell you that "vast majority" is overstating it by some margin.

They're considered rare because they are rare. They may be less rare in certain communities, where there's a particularly high frequency of a particular gene - but "less rare" in this instance is in the order of 2%.

2% of the British population, or 2% of the worlds estimated total population of 7 billion?
The latter. The UK is fairly representative of Northern and Western European populations and we don't have particularly many common mutations - except the obvious ones of ginger hair and lactose tolerance. Our incidence of intersex is around 0.05%.

Video of the crash is now available on TMZ (no link - AUP). Still don't understand why Jenner isn't charged with a serious crime like vehicular manslaughter or dangerous driving causing death.

Because Celebrity.

Why was the ACDC drummer given house detention for drugs and threatening to kill when average joe would go to jail?
Money and Fame

He threatened to kill someone while in the grip of meth addiction. He pleaded guilty to that. A non-jail home-curfew sentence with rehabilitative measures seems perfectly in line with the offence and outcome?

I'm not sure I agreed with the judge's notes on Queen/Mercury, but we're way off-topic already :)

In the case of Caitlin Jenner do you have evidence as to what caused the crash or are you privy to the outcome of the Major Crimes investigation? If the answer to either of those is "no" then I'd respectfully suggest that you're speculating out of your hat.

It is like many Celebs, that get busted with drugs.
Average Joe goes to jail, Celeb keeps on living in Rich Land.

Heck, Average Joe would have most likely been arrested at the scene but not a celeb?

Celeb's get arrested all the time, and thus why we end up with their mugshots.

Further, it isn't so much that they get off because Celebrity but because they can afford a decent lawyer. Plenty of average Joe types can afford a decent Lawyer, thus turning something like a DUI into a lesser offense. This gets easier if the arresting cop makes any mistakes (they often do) which can be used to compromise the prosecutions case.

Watch the video. Jenner ran into the back of a car, pushed it into oncoming traffic and someone died. Clear day, no rain, no visibility issues, no other extenuating circumstances that we know of. Likely simply not paying attention for whatever reason. I expect an indictment in the next couple of weeks as the investigation wraps up.

Watched it, I concur that that's a fact.

Clear day, no rain, no visibility issues

Also fact.

Like what?

Agreed, but that's still speculation.

I don't now how long MCU take but I'd concur (speculating) that that's the likely outcome. Looks to me like Jenner was driving too close for the vehicle combination. I'd also join in the speculation that Jenner was inattentive.

Police took him from the scene to the hospital for his blood test. Why would they arrest him when he'd passed if they hadn't concluded an investigation? It's not like his home/movements weren't known to them (the only part that his celebrity played in this, imo).

What if he tries to change his appearance or don a disguise?:sly:

Order your Caitlyn Jenner Halloween costume consisting of padded top, wig and "Call me Caitlyn" sash.

I don't get the outrage, other than someone doesn't like that the newest celebrity parody costume makes fun of one of their group. Where were these people when the Jersey Shore and the Kardashian costumes, for men, came out?

Simple rule of thumb: If you were in the media or a large part of pop culture in the last year a costume of you, made with humor in mind, will be created.

I agree with @FoolKiller. This outfit parodies a character. Calling it "outrageous" and "disrespectful" ignores the very equality agenda that Jenner upholds. This is no more offensive than a man dressed as Wonderwoman, Marge Simpson or Liberty.

Where I come from at least, wearing the costume would be closer to an announcement of acceptance, rather than the opposite. I'm with you guys.

It's a new and contemporary Halloween costume, supposedly, and for the high purpose of commercial profit. Though likely not for children going door-to-door, but for consenting adults in private parties, I'm guessing. It's got to be good for a few more laughs than a shopworn dragon, alien or pirate get-up?
