Had so many great races here, the last few with Timo and Rudi were awesome. Had a few failed to match issues and even the "grid position unavailable" :ouch: But the great racing made up for that.

I just finished up a free run session. Came up with a 1'51.785. I still see another tenth or more to be had, but nailing a perfect lap with this car on this particular track is nearly impossible for me, since the front end just doesn't have enough bite for my taste :(

Thanks everyone for the nice racing going on ! Been great and its almost like the old days right guys? :D!

Definitely! :) Did 5 or so races tonight, all full grids, mostly M3s. One was 12/12 I remember, really great!

Seeya soon!

Yes the most battles was great again today, thanks folks. 👍 👍

Today i was running with S3/S2. Maybe tomorrow i can find a S2/S2 setup. :dopey:

Excellent action, thanks for fellow Finns and rest of the band! 👍 I was on S3's earlier today, but found it too frustrating since overtaking is way too hard. I do somewhat slower laps on S2's, but it gives at least a change to follow slipstream.

By the way, Timppaq did a 9'24.1xx final time although I slowed him down a little. :scared:

Wow, you guys have been really busy 👍. Hope I got all times on the leader board without missing or messing anything up!

As much as I appreciate that this thread is really active (I had LOTS of reading to do today :)) : I'd like to point out two things:

1.) (again) Please race according to the OLR. It's been pointed out several times throughout this thread, beginning with post # 1. Especially the run-off areas seem to still cause discussions. C'mon guys, we're here to have fun!

2.) Related to the GT-Planet regulations and our etiquette: If there is need to discuss something as far as race incidents go please do so in private per PM or, if it needs be in here then please without adressing the person(s) involved! It would be sad to see this event-thread go up in flames like other threads have done recently.... I'm happy to see we have the class in here to keep things cool even though there have been accusations 👍, but still: please settle (negative) things outside the public forum!

Thx and cheers
Heiko

I think I was following TA so thanks buddy 👍

Looking forward to some more action later tonight!

tonight was a bit of a sad day cause nothing really worked, had 2 races with like 5-7 drivers but most of times connection error's.

Will be joining tomorrow again.

You guys run S3's??

Chris

Great stuff last night guys! I witnessed 2 starts with 12 M3's and one with 10. Sweet fun guys, thanks a lot 👍

Hi motorheads, i'll be joining you today if i can get just close to your lap times. ( I'm really scared this time)

Lacko, i hope to find you there, you know i like the taste of hungarian blood. lol

By the way, i love the way organizers of this event have explained what clean racing is all about. Always nice to find a place where people still care.(wow, that could be the begining of GTP national anthem)

Nice to see you in here Sutil! 👍 And thanks for the kind words, doing what we can :)

@ Chris: you're putting it mildly ! Got connected to ONE SINGLE race yesterday with ONE guy in an Elise, but it was at least fun. We messed around quite a bit and spent plenty of time waiting for each other.... Not all Ellis are the same 👍 Nevertheless I hope for some good old Beemer action later!

To your question regarding tyres: I think most if not next to all are running S2s front and rear. Might be worth looking into S3/S2 though to compromise between the lack of front end bite and straight-line speed.

Seeyall on track!

1'52.111 free run. Replay saved.

Big improvement there, very nice! 👍 ... updated.

I'm about to resign from this, matching (for me) has become worse than ever, again only got into ONE race yesterday. What I just can't my head around is the inconsistency of the matching issues. Last weekend it was like only one out of ten failed (during prime-time, full grids and all) then on a Monday or Tuesday night (tumble-weeds in the chat and on my friendslist) 9 out of 10 failed to end up in a race with 2 or 3 peeps !? ...:confused::confused:

Same here Heiko...It's a shame that the massive connection issues have overshadowed the potentially brilliant racing we could have had :(

TBH I really can't be bothered to waste my time trying to connect time after time, only to become more irritated with the connection issues and get lucky to get a race 1 out of 5 times. I also don't understand the inconsistencies either :odd: Like you said, last week wasn't bad at all...now you're lucky to get into a damn race all day long :grumpy:

I'd REALLY like to know wtf is going on, and what is causing this to be exact. Because to me, it doesn't make a bit of sense how these connection issues came on so strong and so suddenly out of the blue 👎 Thanks for killing our fun...whoever/whatever is causing this

Was really great event with loads of great racers. :D 👍 But I won't be racing here anymore I fear, something came up.

If I've just witnessed how GTHQ race by their representative in the last BMW race, I'm surprised you guys actually want to race against them, or is it anything goes.

I've been thinking the same thing.
It started so well but the races seem to be getting quite heated. Yeah yeah, I know it's a race but I've had a number of races where I have been repeatedly hit going through corners in order for them to pass me.

it's just not cricket chaps!

Good fun today:tup:! Thanks too Crazytortise, Eriba, Marooned, Alexi, Chunkee_Monkey and Sinibomb (great race mate)! New time: 1.52.513:) leading with overall of 9.26.981!

Special thanks to my friends LED_GTLMsquad and IRT_Solarsystem for joining:D!

I haven't successfully connected for the last 3 days. Last weekend was brilliant, though I didn't get the memo on the change to the RX7.
