Bay Area wobbling again!

We've been having bigger earthquakes than you guys over the last year. 2012 must be upon us. Had a couple over 5.0 including a 5.6 in November.

Didn't feel anything up here in Paradise, but then, I'm ~160 miles from you...

It might be just a little sneeze for you guys, but for us, even the 4.0 aftershocks from the 2004 Sumatra earthquake were scary enough, especially since none of the buildings here are built to withstand earthquakes.

Not to mention a single bad tsunami could wipe us off the map, literally

Yeah, it's very important to remember that we learned out lessons in past earthquake disasters. The buildings going up now are built will all kinds of shocks and dampers specifically for earthquake readiness.
