Beautiful, tight, sick, wheels. (Lots of great pics!)

no i took like 4 pictures
(technically it wasnt even photoshoped, just put them all together)

1 car (like that without blur, 1/25000 speed)
2 of the wheels with 1/60 speed
1 of car with 1/60 speed for background blur

movement has no difference in the game, in all driving in the game the wheels are flat
and in photomode they will be 3d.

Camaro Boy asked for any pics in photomode that looked good, so cool it.....

If everyone wants to post some more nice wheel pics I can add them to the first thread for everyone to see whats really out there. :)
Try to keep the pics in thumbnail size if you can. Most people hate the Horizontal scroll bar at the bottom when huge pics are posted.

I took a few shots in photodrive where I focused on a rolling wheel and it came out looking fine..

Also, has anyone noticed how crappy the scaling is? Get some wheels that are meant to be small like MR2 14's (AW11) and put them on a car that uses 18's. Crap.

Or put some wheels that were meant to be big, like 18's, and put them on a car that has 14's like the MR2.......Crap!

The only pics I want in here are really tight wheel pics. After a closer look they are quite nice. :)

Ok, hold on just a sec., I have some really sweet pics of an SRT-4 and the M3 CSL... I gota grab my flash drive real quick.

This is a tangential question, but how do I go back to the stock wheels in GT4? I see options for removing the wing but not to return wheels to stock.

You cant, or you get luck and catch the wheels in the wheel of the day, kinda stupid though.👎

Not to mention the wheels of the day still retain their manufacture logos on them and they have the same ol crap from GT3.

Yeah, thats true. And I think it's the same ole crap from GT2, cause GT3's wheels were the same as GT2's, right???

And P.S. VipFREAK... Sweet Avtar Animation, LOL:lol:

I tried with my R34 GT-R. In photomodes, the wheels are very well made, but in photodrive, it's in 2D.

Photomodes :

Photodrive :

(Sorry, it's a little bit dark)

Is it just me or does it look like that on every photomode pic, the rim sticks out of the tire, does that change with tire choice on the car or not? That's just bugging me it looks all corny.

Difference between Photomode and Photodrive.

Subaru Impreza WRX STi 2000
Photomodes :

Photodrives :

There is a big difference (The wheels of the Impreza are BBS).

Wheels can make or break a car, and I wasn't satisified with how you can't form a collection anymore.

Like, why? That's stupid..

"Your old wheels have been 'traded in' and you get nothing for them."

THIS SHOULD SUM UP EVERYTHING. Conclusion is also in fist post now.
I dialed in the exact problem with why some wheels look bad in photomode and some dont. I was actually able to almost duplicate Tangomans Camaro pic.
I used to take the pics with the Exposure set to 1.00 because the pics were so dark from the flashdrive. Bad idea!
Well today I decided to try to leave it right at 0 and see what happened. It worked!
Another thing. There is no way Tangomans pic is directly from the flashdrive. He had to edit the pic with the pic software. I will also prove that too.

Tangomans pic--------pic directly from flashdrive-----my pic edited----on track-----

THE JITTERS ARE NOT FPS PROBLEMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DEAR GOD WHEN WILL YALL GET THIS!

i think we have completely proven the point guys lol this whole thread can pretty much come to a conlcusion

ho well... I guess my bigger beef anyway, was that you couldn't view your damn car with the new rims on, couldn't keep all the rims you'd buy and last but not least they still have the ****ty rims from GT3.

@ sUn i think they're wheels of the day, because i havent seen anything like it.. anywhere i'll keep looking around though

CAMAROBOY69
Im soo getting the hang of this. :)

:dopey: the wonders of dial up...

Anyway... I think this is what I was getting at with the difference from photomode vs. phototravel mode. I think the reason these look more realistic is because the shadows or darks just happen to work in favor of it and so it looks more realistic.
