I guess it comes down to consider exclusive as being, I though exclusivity was bought on a yearly bases for this sort of thing, the other series may be in another game, but for a different year of the series. I could be wrong though.

To keep things up to date, i'll remove the mention of being exclusive i think. It does seem to be an annual thing, not that important in my opinion.

Great work so far! Does this deserve a stickie?

Thanks, as for a sticky, let me get it to a point where im happy, ie lot's of sources listed then i may start annoying the mods for a sticky!

Is it confirmed that the weather is changeable during race? Or is it just rain, sun, snow etc. Or is it possible to have a dry start and a wet finish and vice versa?

There are quotes out there talking of changing weather, but none are that clear. There seems to be an agreement that we will get weather, if that means its dynamic, well thats probably best left as a rumour until someone confirms it.

I'll have to look into this into more detail. It seems a little complex.

iRacing does not deal in exclusives, and their NASCAR deal is not a license but a sanction, and iRacing will run an Online Series for NASCAR. The licenses for the cars are all through the Chevy.

I dont remember if was here or where, but i saw an interview to KY on a french magazine and one of the features in french was "meteo evolutive" a i think that means "dynamic or changing weather"

DTS 5.1/7.1 can be added under Audio beside Dolby Digital. The TT plays through DTS if your reciever allows it. (I'm sure DTS supports 7.1)

Any idea what specific wheels i should be adding?
I'd love to say Full G25 support, but that hasn't been announced.

Yeah just the ones that were in gt5p then you can add to it later. Perhaps just add probable support to g25 and g27 since we saw them in some videos (like Kaz driving the ring with a g27 box in the background)

The only two Fanatec wheels that I know of that support the PS3 are:

Fanatec 911 Turbo Wheel

and

Fanatec 911 Turbo S Wheel

The Fanatec.de site will show you if you go to the buy page, they list which system each wheel is compatible with.

You may want to check and see if the Thrustmaster Ferrari Wheel is compatible, I'm pretty sure SRT used it with SuperCar Challenge.

Thanks, im not familiar with the Fanatec's. Updated.

Where is this so called yellow flag in the TT Demo???

Give me chance to update sources,👍, you'll see Justin has already posted the link above.

irnbrutwinturbo the photomode is up to 20 megapixel :)

Thanks.

Anyone else feel that GT5 is looking more and more like a Toca game(the old ones, not GRID). For those of you not familiar with the TOCA series it had almost every form of motorsport there was. All GT5 would need are some lower level open wheel cars and some CORR events.👍

How come Forza 3's cars has up to 250k polys, when GT5P's are far more detailed and claimed to have 200k?
The short version:

You not going to see those 250k models in Forza 3 unless you stop the game and enter photo mode. Playing the game, in real-time, the car models aren't that far off Forza 2 models (I'd say that some of them would be the same, actually, so probably about half that poly count). But like we discovered with GTPSP, the newer models (in that case, the Enzo, Citroen GT, ZR1, etc) look a lot better than the 'older' models.

You're seeing more detailed models in GT5P, because all of the time, you're seeing more detailed models. They get a bit of a bump in quality in the replays (everything does), but in-game it's still fairly high, and blows every other game out of the water.

And also more polygons doesn't automatically mean better quality anyway. Even in Forza 3's photo mode I don't think the cars look as well modelled as GT5:P's. Just using more polygons is a meaningless statistic on it's own, it's how you use thoes polyones to shape your model.

Btw, I don't think Forza looks bad, it's pretty good compared to most other racing games.

The official number of cars is 950+ as seen in multiple official PD releases

It may be common knowledge, but Maybe you should note the inclusion of first time manufacturers McLaren, Ferrari, and Lamborghini?

I wont believe weather and day/night until I see it or PD confirms it. They may indeed be saving it as a surprise once you boot it.

I think it will be revealed by next month.
