Putting down a horse costs 80-200 Euro. I think a horse gets a bigger dose than a human.

Blimey, in Britain it's the cost of a sheet and somebody to point the bolt-gun. That said, the person holding the gun would be a vet... so yeah, 200 Euro :D

Because we can take care of him apparently. And most likely give him the shot he wants.

The primary reason for the transfer to Netherlands was the possibility for the prisoner to receive a specific medical treatment (both psychiatric and pharmaceutic) readily available there, as it appears that no Belgium medical institution accepts incarcerated patients for such kind of handling.

His initial demand for euthanasia was refused on the basis that therapeutics means weren’t exhausted.
 
If the Belgian healthcare system provides euthanasia, then I don't see why someone should be locked out of that service just because he's a prisoner. Every person has the right to receive proper healthcare, and the right of choice.
