I've encountered a problem with the fastaccess dsl from bellsouth. Suddenly it just stopped working for no apparent reason. So I called Bellsouth and waited patiently on hold for about an hour or so. Than about around 11pm I get through to Tech Service. They direct me towards some connection manager called Enternet300.
I'm not complaining, rather just curious if this has happened to anyone else who uses bellsouth.
For me, it works 10 times better than the fast access app did. doesnt use half the system resources either. Even connects faster.
Also, does anyone know if when you move (and are currently subscribed to dsl) into a house which didnt have dsl, do they charge you to come and install the dsl thing on the phone jack?
heh.. i forgot to ask them while i was on the phone. anyone else find the music they have on hold kinda hYpnotic?
