What is the perfect setup for a Honda NSX GT500 (2016 version) just in case the tomahawk gets patched?
For me, Racing Mediums and 30 Kilogramms ( Pounds? ) of extra weight. I had nothing else changed and this thing was still without any competition.

the ai’s pit stops take 20-30 seconds less time than ours… I finally figured out that’s why anything other than the GR1/2s seem to struggle with the Sardegna.

You basically lose half a lap every pit stop, even if you use the exact same car/strategy/pace.
I am positive that is not true

I am probably a weirdo in that I ran the Mazda RX-Vision with a basic tune left from the Daytona daily for the Sardegna A 800pp. Race Hard tires, FM2 and light short shifting. Pitted on lap 8 and ran to the end. I came in 3 seconds ahead of one of the AI, they had 2 percent more fuel left in the tank than I did, and they came out 1 second ahead. I do think the AI has faster stops, but not sure if I was just not noticing them not changing tires or putting in less fuel.

Still have to drive well and avoid having the AI punt you, but still winning by 10 seconds or so

If the AI didn't change the tires, then this time difference fits very well.

Yes the 787b and the Honda Gp2 car forget it name, detuned.the Nissan that won Le Mans the year after the 787B too, forgot its name too, could look on PS4 but not got time before going to work, thats 3 that win with no trouble.

I use it at Sardegna sometimes and the stock settings are pretty good imo. The Lexus GT500 is 💩 maybe with a tune will be better. Wish they would bring more older GT500 cars. I hate the new Nissan GTR and haven’t bought one and don’t intend to so not sure what they are like in GT500 trim.

Ah, sorry, I saw the 1:32 and thought it was the 919 exploit tune. Is the setup shared, I can't see it posted in this thread?
This is my Setup for the Mazda 787b.
Looks weird and is not easy to drive. But every other Setup I tried was much slower*. If u hit the right line and get control of the understeering u can have a lot of fun.
FM for the first stint is 4 and two laps or so with 5 or 6 to pitstop at end of lap 9. Then FM1 for the last 6 laps to go for the fastest lap.

* even just rise the downforce on front to 550 makes it quit more driveable trough fast corners but costs u in the end about a second laptime.

Have fun trying it. I improved my time by ~40 secs compared to the „Standard“ Settings only few days ago.

Edit: Added my setting for the lsd i have tested yet. Feels like it helps lower the understeer issue a little bit on throttle and I didn’t notice any negative impact. Maybe there is more possible, but atm it’s not tested by my Testdriver @Mr_EG6 ;)

Edit2: Changed the Pictures, cause of improvement of the Setup.
Rise the front stabilizer to 6 for better cornering and braking.

Edit3: I don’t figure out how lsd works. Put it in all extreme ways and I can’t see/feel the impact. The only thing is, if u set it to 60/60/50 u get free pp to lower the weight a little bit more.

Used a fully tuned Aston Martin Vulcan. That car is super fast but it suffers from understeer and you lose time during corners but greatly gain in straights. Its fast but not fuel efficient. Used hard tires and had to pit 3 times. Fuel map at 6 and after last refueling fuel map at 1. Got second by 15 seconds margin. I'm not good at suspention tuning but if you solve the understeer probelm it would be a perfect car. Not for this race though

Seems like the 787b benefits from the pp changes in patch 1.13!?
I was a little bit afraid, but it only needed 3 more kg at ballast to fit the 800pp.
And I was wondering I increased my time to 24:30 (10-14 sec faster then my old record) with a new fastest lap of 1:33:032.
Also it’s more fuel effective now.

I love the 787b so much, I bought a second one today :)

I enjoy the 15 laps of Sardegna 800 and the new 1h of Spa 800 with my CLK LM. It is easy to win. But now i want to train driving typical Gr.3 cars on these races in preperation for Daily Online Racing. Which ones should i buy and tune for these?

Can’t drive the new 1h Spa 800. it’s the only race I have massive framedrops/lags on my 8y old PS4. The other races on Spa I have no problems.

This is the answer. It simply wipes the floor with any 700 or 800PP races. Most of the time you just leave it in lean mode 1 on RH tyres and win by 20-30 secs
Just got to correct you on something here. There’s no such thing as ‘lean mode’. Lean is the opposite of rich. It specifically means an AFR with a low fuel mix.

So in the case of this game, 1 is rich and 6 is lean. So saying “lean mode 1” just makes no sense. You mean “fuel map 1” 🙂

One of the most interesting strategies for this race is to use a fully built road car (max weight reduction, bolt ons, the works) and run a 4-stop strategy on Racing Softs.

Yes, 4 stops. And you go balls out, pedal to the metal, all the time, maybe shortshifting here and there. Nothing beats the satisfaction of roasting the AI's cookie cutter e-sports cars with my homebuilt beasts.

This strategy should also work with most Gr.3 cars and the detuned Gr.2 cars.

If it's anything like the other 800PP events I've done, you'll likely want to use a Gr.3 racer on Racing Softs - and every other racing tire purchased, including intermediates and wets - with a full-customize racing transmission, and either a mid-RPM turbo or a mid-RPM supercharger. That should get your car close to 800PP, just as my Corvette Gr.3 did for the GT World Series when I did the final menu.

Just ran the new legendary Porsche 962 C ‘88 - (1,500,000 Cr) on Sardegna 800. SH, no TCS, power/ecu restriced. Fuel Mix 1 whole race, just stopped for top up around lap 11, no tyre change. P1ss easy win, despite me spinning off in final lap. Was around 40 secs ahead (before losing it) and I'm not a great driver, lap times not consistent, so imagine it would be mince meat for better drivers.

Side note. CPU had horrendous crash around that fast 'right/left', I came around to find it flying through the air taking me and another car out. Luckily my car ended up pointing right way, so didn;t lose much time :D

Subaru BRZ GT300 can do the 1hr Spa Endurance quite easily, just use fuel map 4
Stop around end of lap 8 for fuel, if not earlier if rain comes
Can do a 2:15 on fuel map 1, does about a 2:20 on fuel map 4.
It can do good on fuel map 6, but may struggle around the technical section of spa where the constant turns are.

Yeah! Finally, praiano made a setting for the 787b :)

I will try soon, after I detune it to 800pp for Sardegna. :)

I just bought the 2008 Xanavo Nismo GTR and it is a dream. Drives on rails but also turns and good fuel economy. I don't think I will need anything else at 800 pp. Used it in the Spa 1 hour race and lapped the entire field (it was dry all race ...)

Edit: just did another 1 hour Spa. Now in the rain. Lapped entire field twice. I have never driven a car with such confidence in the wet. I can really recommend it.

I used this also, didnt win that easy (passed viper on end of lap 14) RM FM1 entire race TCS 1 as i didnt know the track that well. ON second attempt got the hang of it and it was fun challenge. Pit end of lap 9 and race hard to the end, left it nearly stock except tweaked the diff a little and racing gearbox set to 310 (still too long but wanted to avoid shifts to 1st gear to minimise wheelspin)

I use the Honda NSX GT500 Epson Gr.2 car, stock with race hard tires for all the WTC 800 events.
Thank you! The NSX GT500 is definitely a win for Sardegna 15 laps.

TCS1, Gas Lean 1 for lap 1st to 7th, Lean 3 for lap 8th to 15th, pit once. Overall time is 26:30 in my first race, leading 2nd place by 49 seconds.

I did 24 Spa with my Subaru WRX Gr.3. Normal turbo and RH tires.

FM1 with short shift till I get 1st around lap 4. Then I switch to FM6 with short shift to make it more challenging but.....

Around lap 8 I entered for IM tires, refueled to full, and continue with FM6 with sort shift.

Around 20 lap I went to pit just to put new set of RH, no refuel and continue with FM6 and short shift till the end.

I finished about 1:20min before the 2nd and was left with fuel for another 2-3 laps.

Now, I think either to start with FM6 from the very beginning and Gr.3 car, short shift or switch to Gr.4 class car because it was not challenging in any way :(

Sardena is super easy with my stock Gr.3 Subaru WRX gr.3 and FM1, so is de la Sarthe with my Subaru WRX Gr.4

Maybe the most challenging endurance for me was the Tokio Express East - with my Subaru WRX Gr.4, SH tires, FM2, no pitstop, but I won it by 25sec ahead of the 2nd.

I love that car, thanks for heads up on strategy... was thst on normal difficulty? Think I'll go with it first run and work down from there like you mention.

I assume if I have to step away for hours I can resume but I won't give the money/record the win?

I think I'm on normal difficulty right now, but I consider to switch it to Hard.

I did 24 Spa about 3-4 times. Only 1 time it did not start to rain at about 8 lap but it tried to and I pitstop to put IM tires. Make with them about 6 laps on dry track, and switch it to RH in 15-16 lap. I sill easyly won the race.

Sardegna 15laps: easy win with any gr2 car. Lexus sc430 gr2 with RH is nearly unbeatable.
Spa 1h: I use a detuned gr1 car from 2000+, like audi r18 tdi or peugeot 908. Dont use old group C cars (they are more powerful, yes, but much worse on the brakes).
Best race to use group C cars is le mans 700pp 30mins. They dominate there.

Was just coming to post about the same car. It is a dream to drive as you said. Ultra stable on braking and cornering. Maybe a little lacking in max straight line speed but it makes up for it and more in every other aspect.

I'd recommend the car to everyone!
