What is the perfect setup for a Honda NSX GT500 (2016 version) just in case the tomahawk gets patched?
Personally, I don't really count exploit tunes, the Tomahawk X is surely much faster if going down that route.
For me, Racing Mediums and 30 Kilogramms ( Pounds? ) of extra weight. I had nothing else changed and this thing was still without any competition. What is the perfect setup for a Honda NSX GT500 (2016 version) just in case the tomahawk gets patched?
The Setup for the 787b is no exploit tune.Personally, I don't really count exploit tunes, the Tomahawk X is surely much faster if going down that route.
I am positive that is not truethe ai’s pit stops take 20-30 seconds less time than ours… I finally figured out that’s why anything other than the GR1/2s seem to struggle with the Sardegna.
You basically lose half a lap every pit stop, even if you use the exact same car/strategy/pace.
I am probably a weirdo in that I ran the Mazda RX-Vision with a basic tune left from the Daytona daily for the Sardegna A 800pp. Race Hard tires, FM2 and light short shifting. Pitted on lap 8 and ran to the end. I came in 3 seconds ahead of one of the AI, they had 2 percent more fuel left in the tank than I did, and they came out 1 second ahead. I do think the AI has faster stops, but not sure if I was just not noticing them not changing tires or putting in less fuel.I am positive that is not true
Ah, sorry, I saw the 1:32 and thought it was the 919 exploit tune. Is the setup shared, I can't see it posted in this thread? The Setup for the 787b is no exploit tune.
If the AI didn't change the tires, then this time difference fits very well.I am probably a weirdo in that I ran the Mazda RX-Vision with a basic tune left from the Daytona daily for the Sardegna A 800pp. Race Hard tires, FM2 and light short shifting. Still have to drive well and avoid having the AI punt you, but still winning by 10 seconds or so
I use it at Sardegna sometimes and the stock settings are pretty good imo. The Lexus GT500 is 💩 maybe with a tune will be better. Wish they would bring more older GT500 cars. I hate the new Nissan GTR and haven’t bought one and don’t intend to so not sure what they are like in GT500 trim. What is the perfect setup for a Honda NSX GT500 (2016 version) just in case the tomahawk gets patched?

Just got to correct you on something here. There’s no such thing as ‘lean mode’. Lean is the opposite of rich. It specifically means an AFR with a low fuel mix. This is the answer. It simply wipes the floor with any 700 or 800PP races. Most of the time you just leave it in lean mode 1 on RH tyres and win by 20-30 secs
I used this also, didnt win that easy (passed viper on end of lap 14) RM FM1 entire race TCS 1 as i didnt know the track that well. ON second attempt got the hang of it and it was fun challenge. Pit end of lap 9 and race hard to the end, left it nearly stock except tweaked the diff a little and racing gearbox set to 310 (still too long but wanted to avoid shifts to 1st gear to minimise wheelspin)Just ran the new legendary Porsche 962 C ‘88 - (1,500,000 Cr) on Sardegna 800. SH, no TCS, power/ecu restriced. Fuel Mix 1 whole race, just stopped for top up around lap 11, no tyre change. P1ss easy win, despite me spinning off in final lap. Was around 40 secs ahead (before losing it) and I'm not a great driver, lap times not consistent, so imagine it would be mince meat for better drivers.
Side note. CPU had horrendous crash around that fast 'right/left', I came around to find it flying through the air taking me and another car out. Luckily my car ended up pointing right way, so didn;t lose much time
Thank you! The NSX GT500 is definitely a win for Sardegna 15 laps.I use the Honda NSX GT500 Epson Gr.2 car, stock with race hard tires for all the WTC 800 events.
I love that car, thanks for heads up on strategy... was thst on normal difficulty? Think I'll go with it first run and work down from there like you mention.I did 24 Spa with my Subaru WRX Gr.3. Normal turbo and RH tires.
FM1 with short shift till I get 1st around lap 4. Then I switch to FM6 with short shift to make it more challenging but.....
Around lap 8 I enter for IM tires, refueled to full, and continue with FM6 with sort shift.
Around 20 lap I went to pit just to put new set of RH, no refuel and continue with FM6 and sort shift till the end.
I finished about 1:20min before the 2nd and was left with fuel for another 2-3 laps.
Now, I thing either to start with FM6 from the very beginning and Gr.3 car, sort shift or switch to Gr.4 class car because it was not challenging in any way
I think I'm on normal difficulty right now, but I consider to switch it to Hard.I love that car, thanks for heads up on strategy... was thst on normal difficulty? Think I'll go with it first run and work down from there like you mention.
I assume if I have to step away for hours I can resume but I won't give the money/record the win?
Was just coming to post about the same car. It is a dream to drive as you said. Ultra stable on braking and cornering. Maybe a little lacking in max straight line speed but it makes up for it and more in every other aspect.I just bought the 2008 Xanavo Nismo GTR and it is a dream. Drives on rails but also turns and good fuel economy. I don't think I will need anything else at 800 pp. Used it in the Spa 1 hour race and lapped the entire field (it was dry all race ...)
Edit: just did another 1 hour Spa. Now in the rain. Lapped entire field twice. I have never driven a car with such confidence in the wet. I can really recommend it.
