I'm asking about some of your favorite and least favorite football fields and stadiums. Where is it a great place to see some good old gridiron football? I surely have some of my favorites to share, but I'm asking for your favorites. So check this deal out. Please remember to talk about the name of the stadiums. I'm not real sure if I'll count non-football stadiums that have hosted football games (for example, Fenway Park used to host some Boston College(?) games. Also even arena football venues). But here's some of my favorites from college and pro action.:

NFL Favorites

Reliant Stadium - Houston, TX, USA
I've seen my first-ever football game here. It's a real state-of-the-art place and amazing to see football at. I think it's a very cool venue. It's a stadium with a retractable roof, so rainy days won't be of any worry if Southeast Texas has usual bad weather in the late Summer.

University of Phoenix Stadium(?) - Glendale, AZ, USA
After seeing the historic BCS Bowl Game between Oklahoma and Boise State, and the not-so historic ass beating Florida gave Ohio State, this is a very lovely stadium. It will be the home of Super Bowl IVII(?), so get used to seeing this place.

Heinz Field - Pittsburgh, PA, USA
I love this stadium's surroundings. I love watching football on TV when even the Pittsburgh Panthers play here for their home games. Amazing stadium.

Qwest Field - Seattle, WA, USA
Qwest Field is an amazing place to see Seahawks' football. I like watching games on TV at Qwest Field. Lovely stadium.

Other NFL Favorites:
* Ford Field - Detroit, MI, USA
* Qualcomm Stadium - San Diego, CA, USA
* Alltel Stadium - Jacksonville, FL, USA
* M&T Bank Stadium - Baltimore, MD, USA

College Favorites

Rose Bowl - Pasadena, CA, USA
What more can you say? The Rose Bowl is home ground for UCLA and home to the Rose Bowl for almost a century. This is a VERY lovely place to see football played. The hills in the background make for an absolutely beautiful backdrop. Even more so in seeing some amazing games like the historic Rose Bowl match of 2006 between Matt Leinart and USCal vs. Vince Young of Texas. I love the Rose Bowl.

Husky Stadium - Seattle, WA, USA
Love Huskies? Your home for the 1990 co-National champion Washington Huskies play in a scenic and beautiful stadium. Washington is known as the Emerald State, but the beauty of this stadium and its backdrop sparkle like diamonds.

Bronco Stadium - Boise, ID, USA
The blue field. Humanitarian Bowl country. Also home of the undefeated Boise State Broncos. Zared Jabransky's trying to get a starting deal for my Texans (and I'd love to see him play for us), but this blue field has been love-it-or-hate-it. What's my favorite color? Blue. Should a love of blue carry into football fields? It's unique nonetheless.

Robertson Stadium - Houston, TX, USA[/B}
Unlike UH's Hoffheinz Pavillion, Robertson Stadium isn't in dire need of serious renovation. It's referred to as "The Mighty Quinn." The stadium is the football home to not only the Houston Cougars, but also the Texas Southern Tigers. It's even home of the defending MLS Champs, the Houston Dynamo. A new stadium is in the works for the Dynamo. Robertson Stadium is a very nice stadium to see Cougar football. The University of Houston has a lot of history in football. Though no national championships, the Coogs still are no lightweights in talent over the years.

Aloha Stadium - Honolulu, HI, USA
It's usually used for the NFL Pro Bowl for the pros. But in college, it's the home of the Hawai'i [Rainbow] Warriors. The black and green call this paradise for football fans. Don't get too friendly with the Hawaiian cuties, though. When you come to Aloha Stadium to play Hawaii, get ready for a potent offense. Their most bitter rivals are Fresno State.

There are many more I haven't listed. Why don't you share your favorites and least favorites?

Ford Field is very nice, I never understood why on earth the city of Detroit spent that kind of money on such a bad team, but what do I know. They did one hell of a job on it.

I also love the Big House at the University of Michigan. There is just something about 108,000 people in one place that has some sort of sheer excitement to it.

Also Notre Dame's stadium is pretty cool, especially with touchdown Jesus...

Ralph Wilson Stadium has got to be one of the worst ones. It's where the Buffalo BIlls play. I went there about 5-6 times and the seats were all metal, something not very good when it's about 25 degrees Farenheit.

Then they refurbished it, and put the club seats in (enclosed, very nice, but very expensive). The following tickets in price (from more to less expensive), take you to the damn upper parts of the stadium, where it's about 25 degrees farenheit, but very windy, so you feel like you're in the freakin' south pole and you can barely see the game!

Qwest Field - Seattle, WA, USA
Qwest Field is an amazing place to see Seahawks' football. I like watching games on TV at Qwest Field. Lovely stadium.

Trust me, its a really great place. Ive been there 3 times:drool:

The new cardinal's stadium is nice looking with all the features it has.
Invesco Field is nice, I took a tour while on vacation.

As much as I hate the Cowboys, their new stadium looks cool.

Monster Park (49ers stadium) is the worst. It's old and dirty. I bet it looks the same as it was 20 years ago  . Plus the location is horrible. I hate going there but I only go to watch my Rams.

I'm a huge fan of Houston and Dallas' stadiums. I'd love to go there some time.

First, its now Bill Walsh stadium.

Second, THE RAMS ARE GOING DOWN!👎

Our "new" Mile High stadium just doesn't have the charm that the original did. The previous version would rumble with foot stomping. It set a standard for home field advantage that our new stadium just can't live up to. The crowd noise isn't as loud either. Maybe thats because you have to be a high paid well refined person to afford season tickets any more rather then a bunch of blue collar, beer drinkin, punch the Raider fan type of guy.

Ive been there, on vacation, its nice.

But if you want home field advantage go to Quest field, or the place were the Chiefs play.(cant remember the name of it)

Oh god...do the Broncos hate playing at the Chiefs in late November or December. That place is very hostil!!

Same with the raiders, even though they dont play well, the black hole is amazing.

Amazing that those in the black hole haven't stormed up to Big AL's box and kicked him square in the nuts for putting such a bad team out on the field.

College talk. I like the University of Connecticut's stadium. A Division 3 school I got to see in video coverage was the football field for Rensselaer Polytechnial Institute (better known as RPI), which features a nice urban setting. I even think Northwestern University (alma mater of people like Michael Wilbon and Brent Musburger) has a lovely stadium as well. I also think the University of South Carolina and Mississippi State play at very nice stadiums.

I'm curious as to what the University of Minnesota's new stadium will be like.
