you're wrong

AE86es came in two styles. Levin, and Treuno. w/i the car, there's the GT Apex and the GTV. GTV is a trim above GT Apex.

north america never got the AE85s..we had the SR5s which uses the 4AC.

the ONLY difference between the AE86 levin and trueno are the rear lights, and the front lights. Levin = fixed lights, Treuno = popup lights.

if it's a 4AGE, it's a AE86 period. some ppl like to call it the AE88 because that's what it is in the VIN in north america..but generally, if you say AE86, it's the GTS model / GT Apex / GTV

What me and some friends of mine has done is that you take a miata, tune it max, and then trade. (it requires that one has some money)
Another brilliant trick for europeans is to buy gt concept and do 50% i think, then start a new gt3 game save, and back on gtc you transfer 10,000,000credits and all licenses to your gt3 save. This should leave you with all licenses and 10,018,000 credits after day 1. :smilewink

well the first day i brought the game home and put it in i bought the PT Cruiser, and i got up to 80% compleat starting with that sac and my dang mem card fried. The secend ruound i got the trueno to start out with , but i must say i liked the Cruiser better.(sorry to all the trueno fans)

Yeah well there is a spot where it's get's hard to continue w/ the trueno in the beginner 80's cup had a little difficulty w/ that one because that stupid car donsen't go fast enough ....

well i've just restarted GT3 and decided to start of by getting Gold licences. All golds in the I-A rewarded me with the Aston Martin VanquishV12 (what a car). With this car i was able to raise enough money and win cool cars by winning races in FR and NA in biginner - professional leagues. I've bought only one car since i've started and thats the 3000GT VR-4. With these two cars i've gone undefeated for the first 52 races. Out of those 52 wins half of them were not easy.

I have saved replays of several comeback victories.

My favorite was comming back from being wiped out on the first lap of a 15lap race in Medifield raceway ll... i was sweating as the speed 6 opened up a 15 sec. lead with 10 laps remaining. I thought since i'm equipt with super slick tires i can catch him when he pits if avoid pitting myself. I raced the next nine laps perfectly and long behold lap 10 goes by and everyone has pitted long ago but the speed six remained on the track. My tires were still good as I closed the gap to within six seconds with 4 laps to go. Finally on the last turn on lap 14 i pass the speed 6 on the inside... rejoycing that my hard work and perfect driving skills learned via capturing all them gold medals has paid off only to look back and watch the speed 6 pit in  (with 1 lap remaining!!!). What a race.
sorry that i got off the topic i just needed to get that out.

yup he's right... to put it simplar 85= Levin, Boxed Lights . 86 = Trueno Flip Lights... and also, the rear lights are the same.. if u didn't know.. or am I wrong? Prove me wrong if u can.. 'bout the back lights..

I started with the Miata. I didn't win any golds in license, all bronze, im lazy. I won as many races as possible off that little miata and then I bought a few upgrades, and won like 2 races over until I had the cash for a SS Camaro. I won stars and stripes, N/A, FR, tuned up and won the championship, et cetera. I won the c5r at the super speedway, and have been a happy camper ever since.

I started with the miata that costs 16,900. Then I won enough races to buy a mustang Cobra R. Then I raced amatur league american championchip. Got the camaro race car. Bought a NA Stage 2 on it and Now my record kicks ass and I did this in like 3 hours.
