Are you in it for the long haul? These three race tracks utlilize country roads and city streets to go for much longer courses. The shortest of these three is of course, Le Mans. The longest is the Isle of Man. The track most famed for sportscars is Le Mans, and the most famed for motorcycles is the Isle of Man. The longest lap times can be found on Nurburgring Nords and Isle of Man, and the shortest lap times is Le Mans. The most physical track has to be Nurburgring with its bumps and long laps. And you have to finish the final lap to classify there. So of these three long course heavyweights, which is the best of the three?

I'll start.

I LOVE Le Mans. It is a wonderful track with a vibrant atmosphere. It takes plain country roads and a world-class circuit and turns it all into a one-of-a-kind experience. Many great names have either won or competed in this great race. I am very inexperienced with the Nurburgring Nordschleife long course. All I know is that no open-top superexotics race on the track. It still opens the door for nice saloon car action. You are tested SO MUCH more here than at Le Mans (not to say Le Mans is a cakewalk). And with this track being in GT4, it will be a very welcome challenge. The Isle of Man is different for one big reason- it's has no 24-hour race. Just motorcycles, 36-something miles of road, and long lap times. It is fun because of the multitude of events that happen there on track.

But which will I have to choose? For my loyalties in motorsport, let's say Le Mans is my pick, but in a dead heat with the Nurburgring Nords. How about you?

I have to go with the "Ring" as my fave track. I have been to all three of these tracks and i have ridden my bike over the "Manx" course and the Nordschleife. Manx is unbelievably crazy, you just can´t imagine what these guys are doing there, but if you have ever made laps on the Nordschleife you are done for. John you should really check it out in real life if you ever get the chance to, i´m sure it´ll be great in GT4 but it can never be as good as actually driving there (even if it´s in your dad´s VW Golf). The reason that there are no LMP races there is simply because it would be far too dangerous - those things are just too fast!
For those who still don´t know the "Ring"

Well, I'd have to pick the "Ring" maybe because I've never been to the Isle of Mans and having been in the Ring in the last two years for a few rounds (about 50), most of them in a VW Golf TDI (and having the need to return to Portugal after the rounds) I found the track to be the most exciting place to be in (I wasn't driving but I still felt all these things) and in the last year even overtaking a couple of Porsche's and more, some turns start to get familiar, you start to get confident, the track starts to get in your bloodline and you get hooked on the ring, well, for my part I hope to go there when i can so it is the best track, at least for me.
P.S.- Relative to motorbikes i admire who can tackle the ring in one, it really needs guts and a lot of knowhow.

Nurburgring. I don't know Le Mans. I guess I should, but I don't get speed channel, or anything like that.

Cosmic
Nurburgring Nordschleife. It's a long and beatiful track , and it's good for a 14hours Le-mans race too ;)

*lol* I how can Nürburgring be good for Le Mans races?
Maybe you're thinking of Endurance's

Anyway, I like Isle Of Man. The nature around that track is unbeatable.
It's also fast as crap and those roads with their sudden drops is the most exciting race in thw world.
