Fully juiced with RH's and very few adjustments. Surprisingly nimble with great brakes. Granted this was on Easy, but encouraging enough for me to buy the RS' and try again!

Hello and welcome to my Garage, it's a small place and caters to the racers who race and grind on the WTC700 30 minute race at Le Mans.
I will be posting the cars and the setups I use to get the best out of the 30 minutes here.

The basic strategy that i go by in this race is to hit pit road at the end of lap 3, almost all AI pit at end of lap 3 and usually with the cars described in future posts you should have a good lead not to lose position during pitting. Pit road time is usually 32-50 seconds long at this track depending if you get tyres and fuel.

Pay attention to the weather radar at maximum distance close to the end of lap 2 so you can get a good idea if you will have good weather or heavy and therefore adjust your pit schedule for WET tyres, if the rain meter gets half full it is strongly suggested to change to WETS as soon af you can. The weather is random and adjust accordingly.

Basic equipment for all the cars are as follows:
RH TYRES
WET TYRES
BALLAST
POWER REDUCER
FULL RACING SUSPENSION
FULL LSD
RACING TRANSMISSION (Manual transmission optional)
FULL ECU
other parts for certain cars will be noted individually.

Any questions and/or requests will be answered to the best of my ability.
Please enjoy.
ALL MY SETUPS ARE CONTROLLER BASED...

MAZDA 787B
MITSUBISHI LANCER EVO VI '99
AMG CLK-LM
RED BULL X2014
FORD GT40 '66
FORD MARK IV '67
FORD GT LM Race Car Spec II
FORD GT '06
MCLAREN F1 GTR '97
SAUBER MERCEDES C9
TOYOTA SUPRA GT500 '97
Tried several. Thank you!

What is your own personal favorite?

Personally I favor the 787B for grinding here at le mans because at FM3 you can do entire race on the one tank and still have the power to get the lead by the end of the first lap. You would only need to change tyres if it gets too wet on the track for RH tyres.

RANGE: 5 LAPS @ FM6
Get the weight reductions and engine improvements allowed for this car and it will be in front by 2nd lap.

Working on other road cars, do not have Crown Athlete yet, I'll even try the Toyota Truck...(doubt it will survive)
I ended up tuning a Crown Athlete with a 3UZ, it’s quite good!

It’ll do 5 laps on fuel map 6 and take 1st by the end of lap 1, beginning of lap 2

Is there a tune out there for the Renault Megane Trophy?
I have one in collection now, will try a tune or three on it...
By the way, which Megane Trophy? The road car or the Gr.4?

Me and someone else here were recommending this.
In my opinion the best Gr. 4 car for this event

I use it upgraded with High-RPM turbo, it still runs 3 laps FM1-2.

Would you share what you use?

View attachment 1157497Range: 3-4 laps @ FM6 (depending how you drive)
This Ford will drink fuel and to be able to make it last for three laps is to put FM to 6, although this does decrease the overall speed it still can get and hold the lead by the pit stop at end of lap three. If and when you need to change over to WETS, top off on the fuel just to maintain the ability to run 3 laps before refilling.

I need to knuckle down on this car. Finding it hard to win. I've won with the 60's Le Mans Ferrari but am getting second place with the 60s Fords and Jag Le Mans cars... Fun as heck to drive though!

I ended up tuning a Crown Athlete with a 3UZ, it’s quite good!

Oh man I got to try this. One of the few engine swaps I have (didn't complete that menu until right before the glich was fixed LOL!).

When I started out playing GT7, I would run all the usual suspect Gr. 1, 2, and 3 cars. Basically it's an auto win now using a 787B, McClaren long tail, or another Gr. C car if I need credits.

I've been having fun challenging myself and trying to win with the classic 60s Le Mans cars...

Starting to use road cars and having a lot of fun trying to win with two-pit strategies and watching the radar and fuel map closely.

Recently won with the F40, Enso, and LaFerrari and came in second using the Fxx K (not enough top end speed). I'm not finding the Ferraris and tricky too drive as some have suggested. Lot of fun!

What road cars to y'all like to run at Le Mans?

The test with different turbos, is that for fuel consumption? Or to fit with different tracks?
Fuel consumption, in this race it's the fuel that matters, 17 of the 19 opponents put into the pits after lap 3 this is why I want my cars to be able to do minimum of 3 laps without having to refuel

Won with this tune. Thanks! One stop on FM1. Does 200 on straights. Crazy I only won by 17 seconds (normal difficulty). A bit of a boat but still did best last (4:19). Feel like I should have won by much more.
