You'd need to do race times of one minute flat to get 877,500cr our. Because menus, pre-race animations, and post-race animations are a thing, and they take 27 seconds between them.

Just for fun, start a stopwatch for an hour and start a race at the same time, then come back and tell us how much you earned when that hour ends.

Once you account for skipping from one race to the next, the real rate is 675,000cr an hour, and it's in the next article.
When I start a race and finish a race, I get around 18 seconds post race animations to I get to race again on my PS5 and I will try with a stopwatch tomorrow and see.

Daytona oval with trucks.

45k after the easiest clean race bonus every 5 minutes (running 58 second laps). Tundra with a supercharger, sport Softs and some miscellaneous bits (tranny a must for top speed). Very little money spent, 495k per hour (as less than 20 seconds between races on a ps5)... 11 races due to time bewteen races.

I already measured it. Even with spamming the X button and perfect timing to shift to "Retry" it's:

0'00: Chequered flag
0'05: Animation ends
0'09: Credits/mileage addition ends
0'11: Replay exit
0'13: Retry selected
0'15: Start selected
0'22: Pre-race animation ends, race starts

From the moment you start to the moment you start the next race takes a minimum of your race time plus 22 seconds (add about two seconds if you pick up a Daily Workout ticket while you're at it). If you dawdle by a single second at each of the steps you can control, it's 27 seconds.

That means that if you're getting 1'30 races (a stock Tomahawk S on Racing Soft tyres takes 1'40; you'd need to buy the racing transmission to fix the tall 7th gear to hit much under that) with a 0'22 set of button bashes, you're taking 1'52 between rewards - and that reduces your payout from what you said (877,500/hr) by more than 100,000cr an hour to ~725,000cr (allowing for half a second either way)... if you mash the buttons right every time.

You'd need to hit a race time close to a minute to come away with 877,500cr/hour.

Because getting credits is very hard, I don;t know if anyone has this answer yet, but is there a limit again in GT7, how much credits you can own? I GTS it was only 20.000.000, I hope they made it higher, or nog limit in GT7? Someone that has a answer on this?

20M cap on "free" credits (those you acquire by playing the game), and no known limit on paid credits.

This is the one I’ll do today for at least an hour. It’s fairly easy and I’m trying to save up for another Gr3 car.

I think Gr3 is my favorite racing type

I don't understand why I don't always get the clean bonus. I never touch any other truck.
This never happened with the HSR Gr4 race.

Trial mountain cup, with the Tomahawk srt, took me exactly 1hr 2mins to do 7 races. All CRB gives me 7,000,000 credits.A better driver would probably do it quicker but i was making sure to get the CRB.For me,this 2 race series, the time seems to go by quicker than doing the 1st race in the pan am cup,im also having a blast on the WTC 600 cup,3 races @60k each race with CRB and 80k for winning the cup.It takes longer for less credits but i enjoyed the races,i used a porsche 996 gt3 from the UCD,with inters for the first race, and then did the series 3 more times with the scirroco GR4 car detuned to 600.Had a blast!

I’ve developed Stockholm Syndrome with the truck race. The other Daytona oval is more efficient but requires more concentration.

I’ve gotten the race down to 4:25, if it takes longer it’s to avoid the roadblock that inevitably forms. My top lap is like 51.5, and today I got the Raptor to 183mph.

Trail Mountain Cup is my new go to with the Corvette C7 ZR1 '19, 3:45 1st race, 3:42 reverse, 7:27 total
10 runs in 1 hour 20 mins get 1 million.
15 runs in 2 hours gets 1.5 million.

Edit: Down to 3:40-38 1st race, 3:38-6 reverse, @930HP, just for fun ran @1063HP, did a 3:35.012 reverse, lol, but just to hairy to run steady clean.

Wow, people bot GT....and I can't even judge them. This game has come so far.
I'm definitely not making any apologies for it. I'm sitting at 5.1 million, I started using the script yesterday and I've probably earned a total of 10 or 11 million from keeping it going. I'm using the autohotkey script from that psnprofiles user. Cf. https://forum.psnprofiles.com/topic/124003-afk-methods-for-farming/
He's got a GitHub but he doesn't have the latest version of the PanAm script on it yet: https://github.com/ByPrinciple/GT7-Scripts

The main caveat is that you'll want the tomahawk vgt s (the roadcar! Not the racing cars!) which'll take a little time to farm up. If you can do the first panam race (blue moon bay) manually with something other than the tomahawk then it'll just take ~20 runs before you can buy the tomahawk. Another point is that you have to set it up for button acceleration (X is accelerate), d-pad steering, and set down on the d-pad to "nitro" because it uses the boost feature on the tomahawk to finish the race faster. I didn't have to pay for autohotkey on my Windows machine, seems to be free or shareware or something?

I've never botted anything like this before in my life. Used to play a lot of Diablo 2, World of Warcraft, all kinds of stuff that people would run bots for. This is the first game to push me over the edge. It's not just the huge difference between the event payouts and the cost of the cars, tuning and experimenting with cars for the GT7 Sport mode has exceeded what I earn from the races. Adding insult to injury, in GT Sport at least my mileage in qualifying counted toward my daily mileage goal. Doesn't even count in GT7. I'll stop botting for credits when Kaz stops being perverse. I don't think you can blame this on Sony when PD attempted this with Gran Turismo HD a long time ago. A real shame, GT has always been my favorite sim racing series.

Corner cutting maybe? As far as i know it's about hitting other cars or corner cutting which means if you do, you don't get a clean race bonus.

You said it!! The truck race needs very little attention span after the first 30 seconds, and even that is no biggie.

I'm not fully maxed my my tundra... I'll have to see how much more it has to give. If not much, I'll switch to the Raptor. Thanks!!

This is a tuned Tomahawk S with racing transmission with a new race time of 1 minute 26 seconds, and I will try and hour race to see what I get.

Actually, just like CBH I also timed it at about 17-18 seconds. So my PS5 is better than yours I guess. 😅

Anyway, a 1:30 and even below is possible for a Tomahawk S. You need Racing Soft Tyres and to mess up with the suspension and gear ratios. You can reach almost 500kph with that Tomahawk, I clocked mine at 492 in the straights and my times are usually 1:30/1:31 when I have to avoid a "pack" of cars mid corner.

I've never botted in my life either. But this may be a first... I'm still just using remote play and rubberbanding my analog sticks. However from what I heard, you can use scripts to also use the Hybrid power of the Tomahawk S and also scripts to restart the race automatically. Are both of these true?
I just have to manually restart the race myself every 5 minutes or so without scripts.

Well it is a day one machine.

Definitely - as I said 1'40 is the time for a stock one on Racing Soft tyres. Sort the 7th gear out and you take chunks out... but you're not hitting 877,500cr an hour with it under any circumstances.

Quite right. Loading times into account, it's a bit over 750.000 per hour (loading times between races being 18 seconds and the race itself being 1:30 on average).

On a Standard PS4 with SSD I did 11 races in about 63 minutes Loading from the World Map Screen... And that's about my tolerance for Daytona :D

With todays electricity prices it might soon become cheaper to just buy the MTX tho
I wonder if in the future we're going to see articles doing comparisons between some country's total energy consumption and the energy wasted by all the consoles farming GT credits 24/7.

Maybe PDi should should just add an option to let them use our Playstations to mine crypto currencies while we sleep in exchange for credits? That might save a couple of polar bears in the long run :D
