Best Nissan Skyline to buy?

I`ve bought a Mine`s BNR34 it`s like driving on rails. With maximum upgrades it has 497kW and won lvl 23 SuperGT without any problems. The handling is amazing, this car can keep the line in medium corners with full throttle and it`s almost impossible to make this car slip away.
Very easy to drive and very forgiving...
 
My R32 puts out 654 bhp. Top speed is 211mph. All suspension/LSD settings are standard. No Aero rear wing, just extension and front.
 
I have the M-Spec Nur R34. But should I hold off on upgrading until I get the Vspec II Nur?

How come you didn't buy the V-spec II Nur R34 anyway? :scared:
There's really not that much difference really, but personally it's worth it if you want to drive a R34 in cockpit view 👍
 
Has anyone tried the Blitz Skyline ?

It's just a drift car. I believe it's based on the ER34 Skyline (which I think is a 4 door in Japan)
It's Ken Nomura's drift car. It sire is powerful, but it's not really a track racer.

I saw the M-spec Nur in the used car lot and picked it up.. not knowing they sold the Vspec II Nur in the Dealer section...silly me :ouch:

but driving R34 in cockpit view is enough reason for me to get one :)
 
I dont know about you guys, but my GT-R eats up any skyline its put against. The R-34 fully tuned is fast and handles a dream but it cant compete against a GT-R.
 
V-Spec II Nur. Its a BEAST! I am a huge BMW guy but this car blew me away.

Shes still not maxed out (stage 2 upgrades at the moment). Just started a week ago and havent got enough time to tinker with it because of work.

Fully upgraded mine has 730 bhp and demolishes most cars! 👍 nice car
 
Thanks! Hoping to get an R35 too but I am in love with my R34 for now. Still curious about the Mine's version though, like what S13DRIFTSPEC said a couple posts up, how does it stack up fully-tuned?

Well it does have nearly double the stock power when bought, so I would assume you can get it to a higher BHP :sly:
But on the other hand, I'm not a fan of the vinyl on it.
 
I purchased the R34 V spec Nur from the dealership , maxed it out to around 773 hp and since then no car can keep up with me , i fly past enzo ferraris in expert mode like nothing i also fly past those fast race cars in the pic below like nothing , i was simply amazed , i go from 0mph - 225 mph in under 44 secs

I tuned the suspension , everything in drivetrain and the transmission !

After seeing your pics, I'm buying the Premium R34 as soon as I get home. How does it compare to the GTR SpecV? Does it weight less when fully upgraded when compared to the SpecV fully upgraded? I know it can have boatloads of HP but weight is the most important thing to me as all that HP means nothing if you can't stop or turn. Love the look of those btw. Both of them.

I bought one very soon for my A-Spec playtrough.
You`ll never regret it if you are going to buy one. For 200.000Cr it is a fantastic car anyway.

But i am not sure if it is any better than a regular R34 with all upgrades. I still think you just pay alot for the fancy painting. You probably get better wings which you couldn`t buy for a regular R34, same with RaceMod!

It only weighs 1247kg (GTR weighs more i assume) as I last remember full tuned, and it will have around 100bhp less, however they both handle fantastically 👍

Yeah the SpecV weights 1346 or something similar to that. I can't wait to get home now... Only 55 minutes to go until I'm off work. Off tomorrow too! Yaaaay me!!
 
Got my R34GTR at 785bhp. Still fine tuning the suspension, hope I can get 800BHP out of it, still breaking the engine in.

hmm does anyone notice the poor tuning relative to real skylines or even old GT's?

There's plenty of skylines running around with 700-800hp at the fly and racing/pro tuner ones at 1200hp+. Why is GT5 only limiting tune to about 780hp when GT4 allowed 1000hp+?

The other annoying thing is rim selection. Why can I not get TE37 rims for the R34 GTR but they're available on the R32 and R35? The TE37 is probably one of the most popular rims for R34 GTR's around (a set are on my GTR at home :))

Oh you'd be suprised. A grip tuned BLiTZ ER34 will be more of a track racer than an actual R34 GT-R. It has downforce and plenty of grip to offer. Plus it's RWD so you won't have to deal with any stubborn understeer like a GT-R. 👍

I think the R32 in the game is slightly misrepresented in terms of its steering physics (fairly neutral in the game). I used to own an R32 GT-R with ~300awkw (thats about 400hp at all four wheels). The ATTESA system in the R32 was slower to react than the R34 and resulted in some wonderful full-throttle powerslides in 1st, 2nd or 3rd gear. I understand that the V-spec and V-spec 2 were slightly improved so I can't make a comment. But I don't think PD has fully worked out how to integrate the physics of the ATTESA system and just treat the GT-R's as 4WD when in fact they are not a full-time 4WD.
