Best roadster?

I actually prefer the 3400S to either of them. The S2000 can be driven very quickly, but the Griffith has the real feel.

TVR Tuscan, best roadster in the game no question.
You do realize that "roadster" = 2-seater convertible, right?

and that "Tuscan" = 2-seater coupe with a hard top (hence the term "coupe)?

Roadsters can have hard tops carn't they, the SLK can be classed as a roadster, you get hard tops for S2000's. If I'm wrong I'll be happy to stand corrected and change my choice to the Tuscan.

I don't believe the Tuscan is a convertible. There is an S2000 coupe, however. I like the S2000 more. It looks better, although the Griffith is also a great car.

The Griffith. I've liked it ever since I got all gold from the IA-license in GT1. I like the overall package. Looks, handling, power. I enjoy it much more than the Tuscan, which is often picked over the Griffith.

The SLK is a roadster because the top goes down. The S2000 hardtop is not a coupe; it's just a convertible with a winter cap on. The hardtop is removable. That's why those two cars are roadsters.

The Tuscan, however, is coupe. It has a permanent, fixed roof.

Hope this helps.

You can take the roof off the Tuscan speed six. Heres a pic.

The T400 and T440R variants don't have a removable roof, and I'm not sure on the Tuscan S but the speed six which is the one in GT3 does as you can see.

I'll have to say the S2K. Here is one with the hard-top:

Hi vrolok :
:D Welcome to GTP Forums!!! 👍 Excellent foto, looks like it was taken @ SS Rte 11 !!!(If there WERE a real one!)...UB57
:D

It's a draw in my opinion between the S2000 and the 3400s. I love the S2000 cause it drifts fantastic. I love the 3400s because it is very balanced and it sound sooooooo good.;)

Thanks for showing me those Tuscans! I didn't realize they were available with a targa top. I've only ever seen them in coupe form, but I admit I only know the '70s TVRs that were exported to the States.

targa tops do classify as roadsters... The speedster for example, and i believe the civic del sol as well... just to name a few.

Well, for game purposes they qualify as Roadsters, but I've never heard any of those cars called roadsters IRL.
