Best sounding non-tuned unmodified car on GT4

Hey GT4 fans,
I was wondering, as I do, about the sound a car makes. It amazing what you here from and engine of a car. You can get high pitched notes and low.
What sound do you like?

This is what this threads about.

Tell me what you think the greatest car sound on GT4 is.

Remember:
The cars have to be not tuned at any extentent. including changing settings. Every setting must be stock.

And also the car must be unmodified. E.g. Not a race car or touring car etc.

i love the sound of the Honda Acura type R (DC5), especially at high rpms. 👍 and some of the muscle cars.

Theres a couple i've noticed lately. The Proto is pretty sweet, as I just found out, but my favorite will always be the Spoon Civic Type R (if this car counts?!).
Connect the optical sound cable up to your 1000 watt surround sound and take the Spoon Civic down the long tunnel at Monaco and you'll know what i'm talking about.

Yeah that protomotors car does sound sweet...

I have a basic surround/stereo setup in my living room, including a nice lil 12" cerwin vega powered sub a couple of dual 8" 3 way towers a decent Sony center channel and surrounds.... nothing crazy but it gets the job done

I always have to crank it up when i play GT...lol Im sure the neighbors love it at 1 am with the windows open...

Alternatively, if it must be a little humbler, the Nissan Skyline 2000 GTB '67/Nissan Skyline GT-R '73. I love the raspyness.

Hey you lot sure like your Honda sounds! To be honest they are pretty sweet.

But remember the spoon civic type R is not a unmodified car, it has been modified by 'Spoon'

I'm gonna making a website with all your favourite cars with sounds on, so when I have enough people and cars on there I can make a vote from those cars.

I like the 63 Vette and the 70 Charger personaly.

Yeh the AC Cars do have a nice rumble.

Oh yeh by the way has anyone got the Jay Leno Tank Car. It has a 30 or so litre engine so must sound good.

I meant that car doesn't rumble and so on.

My favourite is the 787B, but as you wanted unmodifieds I'll go for an RX-7 Spirit R.

Nice chose, the RX-7 has quite a big sound. But also the 787B has only got 5 speed gear box, but still it looks nice.

Wich makes no sense to me....

That sounds more like the supercharged engine of the 03-04 mustang cobra..
the cobra R was a 32valve 5.4 litre N/A motor.... nearly the same HP ratings though...
If there was an 03 mustang cobra in the game, that sound would be a dead ringer for the real car... but it doesnt quite fit the Cobra R....

The Jay Leno car has the engine from an old tank. Not really supposed to sound good.
However the car is an excellent high speed drifter and is fun to drive on the ring.

Aston Martin V8 Vantage (Oh sod it, how 'bout the entire AM range? ) The hair drier-rasp of the Yelow Bird kicks, as does the Viper SRT-10, same with the GT350R.

It's quite hard to decide what to go for here... I have a lot of favourite noises! I want to say the Audi R8 for it's hot-rod like gurgling at <3,000rpm but it may possibly be classed as modified

So I will have to say the Pagani Zonda S, for the same growl at low pitch and a massive scream as the six hundred-odd Italian horses kick the back wheels
I haven't driven anywhere close to all of the cars in GT4, but that's my fave so far 👍

EDIT - pain_killer, I forgot about the GT40 (yeah, I know how'd I do that!?) but now with my memory stirred it's on my top 5 list for great noises... In the replays down the old Mulsanne it's pretty awesome!
