I'm just curious here folks - LOVE racing - and I'm just searching for a small competition on GTPlanet here - as I'm not able to get online with my PS3. :)
So far I'm very happy with the Viper SRT10ACR '08 - did 17;11,1 three days ago...... What's your BEST please - just want to know if I'm too far off - ?? THANKS!! :)

The GTR NISMO might do a bit better than the Viper, but I'm not totally sure.

For better reference you can state the tires you used, pp, bhp, as it all influence your time.
 
IMO the 2002 Honda NSX Type R is one of the most enjoyable street cars to drive at the Nurburgring with its stock settings. I prefer CS over the stock SH tires.

In the past one make events without tuning have been the most popular. Just be clear about the rules and others may take part and share their times. Here is a link to an old TT series that I hosted to give you an idea.

Sorry guy's - I was away for two days here...... It was from my two laps in the Dream Car Championship (two laps) - Racing Hard tyres - settings were: pp704/hp1126/weight1242 - max speed set to 242m/h- best lap: 8;18,9 two laps:17;11,1. I agree 100% with RuddRacer - the NSX is very enjoyable! Need to try it on the "ring" :) Thanks!

17 minutes is slow, but it all depends on what your PP limit and what is your limit on the car and as @seraph1 said Nordschleife or the 24?.

fordlaser777 - made a new record today using my Viper again :) Settings:
PP704/1126hp/1242kg Tyres racing H Max speed 255m/h. 2 laps 16;41,7 - best laptime same as last time - this time a much cleaner race..... very hard racetrack to stay on.... :)

Hi LM7325 - I tried the NSX-R LM RC earlier today - I was not able to get it less than 8min 30seconds a lap. It's a GREAT car - couldn't agree more - but with me max settings for this race (Dream Car Championship - race 5) couldn't get it faster. Whats your best lap around the ring in it LM7325 ? :)
 
Well 700pp is getting up there for the Road cars. I think I have done a sub 8m 30sec lap with a maxed ZZII in the 24min Nurb.

At 700pp the Tomahawk S reigns supreme on normal cars due to the aero trick and rediculous grip.

I have the ZZII too - great handling car. Havn't tried it on the 24min race - will try tomorrow :)

Aventador , you can tune up a little to match SV specs, and do sub 7:00 Nordschleife.

Nurnburgring full circle...? 7mins 00 secs!!!! WOW That's unbelievable - GREAt job mate - any proof of laptime? Screen shot or something please.... :) Keep racing !!
 
I think I have a 6:30something with a stock Saleen S7, I did use racing softs though

EDIT: Just the Nordschleife, not the 24h version, that'd be insane

WOW - det er jo helt VANVITTIG - yes please - det kunne jeg tenke meg å se live!! Trudde jeg gjorde det nogenlunde bra sjøl - men nå skjønner jeg at alder'n har henta meg..... LOL :)

Er litt usikker her nå - la meg finne ut litt mer imorra da jeg ikke er spesiellt flink på komputers...... sorry mate - jeg vil spørre venner om hjelp imorra om hvordan jeg kan komme på PSN etc..... Tusen takk anyhow!! :)

The GTR NISMO might do a bit better than the Viper, but I'm not totally sure.

GT-R Nismo would more than likely beat the Viper by a considerable margin because of 4WD and pretty well balanced steering.
