What is the mode trick

This is done by pressing the dpad button left or right and pressing the mode button once. the mode light will flash.1 Flash - 270 degrees.2 Flashes - 360 degrees.3 flashes - 540 degrees.4 flashes - 900 degrees.5 flashes - 1080 degrees..

First of all, be sure to have le latest firmware on your wheel that enabled the PS5 mode (I was running PS4 mode with a old firmware and that was really bad)
Once done, setup 3 or 2 (above it's pretty hard to catch a slide) for torque and 1 sensitivity

Good morning, Please bear with me as we're newbies. We just bought a sim bundle used, but I want to ensure it's all fully up yo date. Looking at various posts and the Thrustmaster Web site it's still not clear how to update our base and wheel. We have a T300 base and a SF1000 wheel with load cell pedals.We only play GT7. Can you explain how we update the firmware for the base and wheel please. I have a laptop for the updating, and GT7 is played via a PS5. I also don't know about the switch on the base that says PS4/PC etc. TIA. 👍

Follow the link below, all the required files and information are on the site including the pc driver which updates the firmware,
there is also some pdf files that explain how to carry out the update.

I have Torque 5 and sensitivity 2 and I think it works pretty nice.
